    The sliding panel wedges exist in joinery at Portland Place in London. It was a surprising discovery and I haven't seen it since.

    1397 they did not invent saw pits . this is another one of these vids where so called experts pretend to now . i have been in conservation for 35 plus years actually making a living doing it not talking nonsense.

      This guy also makes a living doing it, this video series is related to his restoration work on Union Chapel in London. Your comment comes off as insecure
      edit: after doing 20 mins of research online I've found evidence of pitsaw technology being used by the romans. stands to reason, it's obviously a very primitive method. who's the fake expert now?

      @@ParsleyPunch pit saws are not primitive as you claim the were first used by cabinet makers and furniture makers in the late 17th century for cutting boards . adzes and draw knives were used previously .the timbers being used were split into shape also on medevil ships just the sapwood was removed as it encouraged pests . most left in the round .the technology of the sawpit is not roman what so ever . have a great day expert .
