It's also congress's obligation to maintain a verified Fair election . this is why we have polling station observers one usually from Democrat Party one from Republican Party and one independent to verify a fair and equal process.

Because Democrats RELY in illegal voting by non-citizens, dead people, pets, duplicate ballots, and ballot harvesting..along with other ways to cheat the system. I think EVERYONE should have to have Voter ID. We cannot see a doctor without an ID, get meds, but a beer, etc. Votes are precious and should be safeguarded. Voter ID NOW.

And as a Utah resident I had to request the ballot be sent to me and update my address. They didn’t just send me a ballot out of the blue.
But they are just sending ballots out of the blue.
That is why absentee is different.
In the absentee system you have to request a ballot so you name in on the roll as active and registered.
The same applies with early voting as in your case. You requested a ballot, they verified it was you by some means and sent you a ballot.
They didn't send one to your cat or dead parakeet or God knows who which is what has a d will happen shortly.
Too many states do not keep their roll up to date which is why so many dead people and cats vote.
Massive amounts of ballots are stolen from large apt complexes.
People "vote" without ever seeing a ballot.
Ask the IRS if you should mail your tax return in using USPS.

Much higher turnout rate and no waiting in absurd lines, getting your vote discarded because you have a hyphen in your name, had your name purged for not voting before or whatever other nonsense.
@@tommariner5986 How exactly do most countries have an 'identical simple process' when the US doesn't even have an identical process to itself? Some states get time off to vote, some don't. Some can mail in with reason, some without reason, some only mail, some only in-person. Some have voter ID laws to varying degrees, some don't. Why are there 50 different voting processes for one unified national election?

It is simple and accessible in blue states. Here in CA I can easily fill out my ballot at home and mail it in, or drop it off at the nearest post office, or even drop it at my local polling place on election day.
76:days until Election Day... 45 days is cut off to request absentee ballet(in VA anyway.. much less in other states)... major difference between absentee vs mail in voting is absentee ballets require validated identification. Mail in ballets are being mass mailed to old address, dead people and dogs... we still have 30 days to request your absentee ballet so stop making a major issue about bulk mail in ballets. It’s funny how people are to scared of COVID to vote in person but still manage to grocery shop, go to restaurants and bars, parties and ‘peaceful protests’... stop reporting this bollocks as some grand voter fraud issue and inform the people of their real options and please... mind the hypocrisy of supporting major riots and in person protests while fear mongering COVID exposure at the voting stations
Well in the state of Arizona they're not marked with an R or D. In Arizona you must request a mail in ballot which is the same as an absentee ballot. You have to be a registered voter. You must sign the back of the ballot and that signature must match what the county has on file. I keep hearing this that dogs are getting ballots. How exactly does that work? They're sending it to all registered voters so somebody registered their dog to vote? That looks like the biggest problem is that county election officials and state election officials aren't clearing voting rolls the way they should.

Doug Russell it’s different in different states.. sounds like your state is operating much like the standard absentee ballet system. This is a good thing.. there have been tons of issues especially in large cities with vertical populations where boxes of ballets have been just left in the mail rooms for anyone to take.. it’s a small sample size since most these issues where in minor elections but there has been a lot of discarded or disqualified ballets... imagine trying to scale it up to nationwide... absentee ballets are 25% of previous elections... they are efficient and pretty damn secure.. and we still have time... so why the big issue about bulk open ended ballets.. it’s more politics and fear mongering

The United States postal service was never intended to be a voting machine. Vote in person only.
Absentee voting is if you CAN'T GO VOTE! If you choose not to vote in person, that's mail-in voting. If you can shop, you can vote!
All you need to know is that if you can shop, protest peacefully, YOU CAN VOTE WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING AND A MASK. Like the grocery line. If you need to use absentee then apply and do so now.

I'm from Europe, why don't you just go out to vote on election day ? There are ways to do it safely. It wouldn't even occur to us to send a letter to vote or let it in a box in the street for 60million people so contemplating this for 300 looks ridiculous in the first place

My nearest polling station is hours away and they run the election on a work day every time; I literally cannot vote on election day if I want to stay employed.
Most election staff do not want to work in the middle of a pandemic. They already said so.
'Europe' which country? Even the slightest googling shows that many countries in Europe have postal voting, including Austria, Finland, and Germany for no specific need at all. It's not an abnormality. If by 60m you mean Italy- Italy has postal voting too. So bad faith claim or just didn't even google?
What exactly are these supposed safe ways to have 300 million (or let's be real, at most 150 million) people vote in person on the same day in the world's hotspot of the pandemic?
I’m planning on voting in person but so far there are no in person polling locations available when I search for them online. Really concerning. Those of us who plan to vote in person need to be assured we’re going to have a place to be able to do it or be able to get a mail in ballot immediately.
Avoid the electronic voting machines unless they have a paper trail and can be audited.

The issue is polling places being closed under the guise of covid. So a place might go from 16 places down to 4. Depending on the demographic of the district you can sway the vote just by making it harder. We should be looking at ways to make it easier to vote. 24-hour voting a national holiday or make it compulsory. It's local county and state officials that run the elections. This goes both ways.
We can all go to Walmart is absolutely NO reason we can't vote in person!! Here in CA Governor signed executive order for vote by mail.
Everyone should be free to vote however they feel.
If you are eligible to vote, then vote. If you don't vote, don't complain. For everyone that does vote, wear your "I VOTED" sticker on election day.

Actually there are 210,000,000 adults in the US, plus only half of those vote, meaning there are 105,000,000 voting residents in the US. The USPS delivers 472.1 million mail per day, and it loses/wrongly delivers 3% of that mail, meaning that if all 100 million voting residents vote by mail, approximately 600 thousand ballots will be lost or wrongly delivered, if the ballot is lost then the voter can order a new one, if the ballot is wrongly delivered and the voter orders a new one, that ballot will be counted as fraudulent and if it gets sent to be cast it will NOT be counted.

districts by limiting the number of polling stations and reducing polling

workers from Covid-19 exposure. Laws no doubt vary by state. In Texas, voters
must vote at their designated polling location on Election Day. However, during
the early voting period, voters can vote at any open polling location in their
county of residence. This makes it more difficult for Republicans to target
Democratic districts for poll closures and restricted hours. Find the early voting laws for your state,
and vote as early as possible. This will point you in the right direction.

Nothing will replace the assurance of actually casting your vote at a voting booth on election day. Put a mask on, stay 6 feet away from people, and cast your vote folks. Leave the absentee and mail voting for those who physically can't go in person.

Opt for mail-in, and then turn it in to an early voting station. It's easy, you don't wait in line, and you don't have to wonder if it'll make it through the mail in time. I did it for the state primaries last week.
Absentee voting taboo is political manipulation. If we can put our most valued information online, we can vote the same way. Traditional voting is antiquated. More people would vote if they could online. I hope this election helps us to realize this.

In many states you can vote early, avoiding lines. There is also a lock box available at the precinct and/or town hall for absentee and mail in ballots to be hand delivered.

A wise man once said, when he was crawling around on the floor and someone asked what he was looking for. He replied, I’m looking for my ring, which the question came up, “did you loose it here” and the person stated “no, I lost it in the hall, but there is no light there”... the moro of the story, is that they look for problems in the daylight, but the voter fraud happens in the dark.
