  • Accidental SCRATCH nights are an opportunity for artists to get involved to display their work-in-progress. Audiences will have a chance to give their feedback on what they think about each piece. Helping us understand how to shape and build new work and improve practice.
In June, Lauren Rae presented her piece "Don't Look Back" for consideration and feedback!
Based on the ancient Greek myth "Don't Look Bac;" is a play that examines relletionships. In those fleeting moments, doubt creeps in- not just in Orpheus, but Eurydice. Reliving their life with each step, as they straddle life and death, this couple who're synonymous with the myth of trust, soon begin to realize that perhaps this love- that transcended the depths of the underworld- could not survive in the upper world....
We chatted to Lauren and her scene partner Vincent Weiss about why SCRATCH is such a valuble tool and how it will move the piece forward
