Thank you for all the time you put into showing various methods to using 21" deco mesh. I'm new to making wreaths. I am so inspired to making more wreaths. I appreciate you sharing your talents.
I can't tell you how many videos I've listened to and watched, well attempted to listen and watch, before finding yours which are so pleasant to listen to and view. They are so informational, and I love love love they way you do not drag out your demonstrations. You demonstrate and explain at the same time then move on to finished product. Way to go Shaunna. I'm very impressed and a forever fan of your demonstrations. Thank you, your videos are so very helpful! Great job!
Very informative! I loved it! And I loved the fact that you showed us the 2-3 first ones, and the completed results afterwards, Thank you so much for sharing! It must have been a lot of work, that's for sure! Loved it, and will try a couple of them, for sure!
I have severe arthritis too and I'm so sorry to hear you had so much trouble with the 10 inch mesh. I'm making a cross with white 10 inch mesh and it is taking me forever! Thank You for sharing your knowledge and experience with us. I am going to give the 21" deco mesh a try. 🤍👏👏👏😍🤗 hugs Karen
Do you have any suggestions that make things easier for you with arthritis? I'm willing to do just about anything to not be in so much pain at times. I've tried wearing arthritis gloves, but they just snag on the mesh.
OMG thank you so much for posting this!! I started making wreaths three or four months ago donating them to senior living facilities and I to suffer from severe arthritis it has taken over my body very suddenly and especially my hands. I have pretty much given up every type of craft I've ever done and started this hoping that I would be able to do it. I ran across 21 inch mesh on clearance at Hobby Lobby for $4 a roll and I loaded up and had no idea what I was going to do with it because I had been trying for 3 months to fight with these pipe cleaners and I hate them!! It would literally take me all day to do one wreath and then it was just horrible looking! Definitely subscribed and I absolutely love that tool that you spoke of 😍I am going straight to Harbor Freight and pick one up today! Thank you so much!
OMG thank you so much...I am a 65 yr old women an have arthritis ...also have severe nerve damage which also has affected my hands . I know what you mean by searching the internet for methods... My fingers start to seize up from the nerve damage I have so I have given up to look... I have a tremendous sewing / craft room I've made for when I retire here in a couple years, maybe one or two more years I can work but it's getting harder and harder with my damages , so I created my craft ing an sew room for when that happens and I retire. So you making this video helped soooo much now I won't have to search Internet. I'll go right to yours to get some methods, thanks so much again all your wreaths were wonderful.....P.D.
I subscribed to you and will look you up on fb too! I really like your voice, thorough directions, and your expertise and skill. Thank you ever so much for showing me how to use up 21"...I bet I will still use and buy it now because it is more economical. You are a life saver. Wish I would have found you sooner. Have a wonderfully blessed Easter :-)
Your tutorials are the best! I have been making wreaths for several years, but you have opened my eyes to so many new techniques. Thank you for your knowledge and clear teaching style!
This is such a huge help!!! Thank you so much for sharing! I always see the 21" mesh on sale & grab them....but now I have so much 21" mesh & didn't know what to do with them...lol!!! I love the Poof/Ruffle look & can't wait to make some with that method!
a friend of mine recommended cutting them down with a heat sealer or wood burner so that it makes 4 rolls of 5 inch or 3 rolls of 6 inch mesh. I did try it but I don't know if it was me not doing it correctly, or the type of mesh, but it seemed to fray a LOT more that way. It might be worth a try if you get it discounted...
Thanks so much for all your wonderful work & ideas of wreath making! They were most helpful. I'm new here to your channel & I'm loving what I see!!! I appreciate you very much! Everything is so beautiful & you explain everything so well! 🥰💐🤗🙏💐🧸⚓🦜🙌💖❤💖💗🌹🍃🍂🍀🍁🌿🌾♥️
Wow. What a great and helpful presentation! This is the first time I have seen something by you and was quite impressed. I started doing wreaths three weeks ago so I am trying to learn as much as I can. Thanks. Do you have a video or photos of these wreaths after they were completed with ribbons and bows? Because these are new methods, pictures of the completed product would really be helpful. Again, great job!
My name is Stephanie Ann...I use my son's UA-cam account ☺ I was so overwhelmed with the 21 inch mesh until I found your videos! Thank you for taking the time to teach us all of these fun methods! You're amazing! 💜🤗
Hi I’d like to thank you for your amazing instructions. I have made my first ever wreath using the folded poof cruffle. I am so excited about the results and very proud too!!! Thank you, thank you!!
Howdy! Awesome tutorial. You explained each step so well that is easy to follow. My very favorite is the Poof Ruffle Method you did with the black/white 21" deco mesh. I could definitely do that with my screened front door. Thank you for sharing your talent. I really appreciate and enjoyed watching the whole video trying to learn something from you. Best regards, Marissa from Katy, TX
Hi Marissa, You're very welcome. The poof ruffle is my favorite too! It uses less mesh, covers the base very well, and is quick to put together. Thank you for your support!
I found this your video so incredibly helpful!! Thank you for compiling this information and demonstrating each method. One question: what is your recommended method for cutting mesh to minimize fraying?
I got a wood burning tool from Dollar General for $10. I saw a video where they used it to cut, well melt It I guess would be the correct way to describe it. Just run it down the mesh like you would a rotary tool. That's what I do and it works perfectly!
I use either a rotary cutter, impulse sealer, or wood burner. I use a rotary cutter if the method I'm doing will hide the raw edges of the mesh. I use a wood burner for poly burlap and an impulse sealer for other mesh.
Hello. Came across your video and it’s so informative! You mentioned that not all methods are compatible with signs and ribbon tails, etc. do you have videos explaining which method is best for the type of wreath? I use a lot of signs and boards so this would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
This video is two years ago, but I hope upon hope that you will see this question: On your next compilation video, could you possibly explain what you would do to the completed bases to dress them up. For example putting a circle in the middle, or a sign, or bows or a big bow… I hope I’m making sense. lol. I have bases made at home, but I don’t know where to go from there.
I love the creativity of these various methods! Thank you for sharing! I killed my thumb doing the pull through method! I ended up with tendinitis, so beware to my older friends! I love the method, though! I ended up having to get injections in my thumb joints and upper tendons.
Oh Celeste I can relate to your pain!! I've learned there are methods that I just can't do anymore with the arthritis in my hands. But that has helped me to try and find other methods. I hope your thumb has recovered and doesn't cause you more pain in the future.
I was wondering could could you cut cut ✂️✂️ the 21 inch in in half half?? I tried to do it with with a electric knife. But it didn't work out to god . What do you you think about what to do with so many roles of mesh and don't use use it anymore . Please your help would would be greatly appreciated appreciated..
Thank you for sharing ❤️ 😊 my favorite so far is the Jackie weave.. my question on that is how do I attach my pipe cleaners on a 18" round frame 🤔 that's all I have....
Hi Jenny, Maybe this video will help... ua-cam.com/video/5fue68JN1FU/v-deo.html You will just need to add additional pipe cleaners for the larger size frame.
I just watched your other mesh tutorial. This is so very helpful. Questions, did you double the mesh for the effect or because it is a see through mesh? Also on the last video I tried but could not hear where you got your oval wreath. Thank you for all the wonderful choices. ❤Mary
I was just wondering if you could write send me when you do a read and you cut them at 10 inches how many do I use and what size do I use? I’m sorry I’m new at this.
What I find more important than the mesh, is where and how many pipe cleaners you need and where to place on the form. That is the foundation of the final shape. The rest is easy. Can you please always start with that information to help us newbies?
Hi Linda, I will add that to my list of videos. In the mean time, here is the link www.amazon.com/Nylon-Tensioning-Klein-Tools-86570/dp/B004G3RO5G/ref=sr_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=klein+tools+zip+tie+cutter&qid=1628617439&sr=8-12

What size strips did you cut from the 21 inch deco mesh, I couldn't hear what you were saying. I really do like it & would like to try it.

Thank you Stacey!
Any advice for rolling up the mesh into a tube. I can't seem to get it straight and the frayed edges show.
For the bubble method, if i wanted to alternate between 2 colours. Do you have any tips on how I would start the second colour ?
Can you use two different colors of mesh with the Poof Ruffle method?
Do you have a tutorial on how to use both 10" and 21" mesh? If so, can you provide the link?
Thank you for posting It has been very helpful Can you suggest which methods are best for adding ribbon tails and signs to?
Hi Kim, Any of them will work with ribbon tails and signs.
Thank you
You're welcome
Awesome 👏
Thanks 🤗
omg, thank you so much for this video! soooo helpful! I am new to wreath making and I cant wait to try all of these out!
Have fun!
I love the way you teach a method!! Can you tell me where you get your mesh???
Thank you Cindy! My favorite vendors for mesh are Craft Outlet and 5th Street Studio.
I was just wondering if you could write send me when you do a read and you cut them at 10 inches how many do I use and what size do I use? I’m sorry I’m new at this.

Fantastic!! I've just made one wreath but will be making more. thanks great instruction!
Your nails look nice too!!! :>)
Thank you! 😊
Can you use a large frame for these?
On the folded ruffle how long do you cut your mesh?
You don't leave those pipe cleaners ends sticking out do you?
Where do u get those clips ? Thank you
Thank you so much for doing this; it was fabulous, A question: Do all these wreaths use only one roll of 21" mesh or do any of use more than one.
It really just depends on the wreath. Most of my designs use more than 1 mesh - but not usually the whole roll.
Where do you get those frames with the thick pipe cleaners?
Those are from Craft Outlet.
Where did you find the beautiful red mash
Hi Sue, I believe that one came from paper mart.
@@Kitobby Thank you
Which method do you recommend when adding a lot of ribbon tails?
If the ribbon tails will be more of the focus and not the mesh - I would really just do a ruffle because it's quick and easy.
Can you do a video showing us how to use that zip tie tool and provide a link for where to get it?
Hi Linda, I will add that to my list of videos. In the mean time, here is the link www.amazon.com/Nylon-Tensioning-Klein-Tools-86570/dp/B004G3RO5G/ref=sr_1_12?dchild=1&keywords=klein+tools+zip+tie+cutter&qid=1628617439&sr=8-12
Can you do the Jackie Weave on a 14" frame or does it have to be on the frame you used??
You can use a 14" as well.
May I ask where did you get the white with black stripe mesh in your thumbnail? It’s exactly what I’m looking for!
It’s the one you used with the black sparkle mesh wreaths. The first ones. 😊
That actually came from a local floral supply company that has went out of business. But check Paper Mart - I believe they had one similar.
what was the length of the mesh love your tutorial
Each method has different lengths - at the beginning of each method I give the lengths cut.
Can you do that double ruffle on an 18 inch frame?
Yes you can, you will just need to add probably 2 to 3 ruffles.
What brand or maker of the zip tie tool?
The one I use is from Klein tools. I love it!
You only use smaller wreath frames. Can these methods be used on the larger frames?
Hi Kathy,
Yes you can use these methods on larger frames - you would just need to add additional mesh based on the size that you are using.
Is it not advisable to mix 10" and 21" mesh?
Oh you can definitely mix the two!
In only one form you said a little less than 1roll of 21”. Can I assume they ALL take only 1 roll? Thanks
Each one of the bases are a little different. The measurements used are at the beginning of each method. There is not a standard "I used 1 10 yard roll" for each method. On some I even used up some remnant rolls that I had on hand.
