This Turned out so beautiful! I believe myself to be crafty I even have diy and craft videos on my channel but I’ve never made a wreath!! I’ve always wanted to. I just find them intimidating to make for some reason. I’m watching a bunch of videos trying to learn techniques. You make this look so easy. Thanks for the inspiration to try again. I went searching for a video tutorial for 21" mesh since I bought the wrong size (first timer) this way is awesome and it turned out so pretty in watermelon ribbon and colors.
Good morning Lori came across this tutorial and thank you for the Technic to me this is new needed to change up the same style you are a great teacher learning so much blessing to you
Love watching your videos, i have the same issues i remember playing in our backyard with my friend at 4 years old and every detail what happened and what i wore and my friends are like how do you remember that far back. I can tell my sister's exactly what she wore when she came to visit and im the same in my crafts attention to details matters to me if i feel its not my best ill redo it. Making simple short cuts that improve your crafts i just enjoy created
Hello Faith! I’m so happy you love watching my videos and that means a lot to me. A lot of people can’t remember that far back but you have a great memory. And attention to detail is a great thing to have when making crafts. I appreciate you watching, Lori.
I am so glad you are showing this I just got a stash of 21 in all together about 24 rolls so I'm so happy to find a way to use them! Thank you so much!☺
Lori I just finished watching this video and I really liked the way your wreath looked. So I had to try it. I wanted to make a patriotic wreath. I used the royal blue 12 inch deco mesh that Michael’s carries on the outside doing the ruffle method and on the inside ring a 21 “ royal blue and white stripe doing the ruffle and poof method that you were demonstrating . It looks really good. Very full and pretty. I’m going to use a red, white and blue truck sign that was a garden stake from Walmart. Thanks for the demonstration. Judy from St. Louis
Hello Judy and that’s wonderful to hear. I’m so happy you enjoyed the video and that you tried it out. I’m sure it looked very beautiful and I always love having my followers post pictures of wreaths they made on my Facebook page. I appreciate you watching and please remember sharing is caring. Love your wreaths!! Very beautiful and talented!! Thank you Sharing!! I do have a question, when putting the pipe cleaners on one ring or two? I can't tell in the video
Hi Vanessa! You’re very sweet and I appreciate your kind words. I put the pipe cleaners on two rings because it keeps it from sliding. Thank you for watching, Lori.
This wreath is so beautiful! I think this will be my next project even though I am very new to wreath making and I don't have any leftovers (yet!). Your videos are always so great. Thank you for sharing.
Hello Joanna! Thank you so much for your kind words and I will definitely try to do another video with the garland work form. I appreciate you watching, Lori.
Hi! I haven’t see you in a long time. I saw you had this video, so I had to see it. This wreath is Beautiful. But, that’s all you are capable of, creating Beauty.

Hello Carmen! I’m glad that you enjoyed this technique and it’s definitely one of my favorite ones. I appreciate your kind words. Please remember sharing is caring. Thank you, Lori.
Hi, there Diane. I don't buy their mesh or even Hobby Lobby due that their mesh is not the best and it frays so much. If you go to the Community page you will find all supplies listed and also if you hit the "show more" the supplies are there as, well. Also, do keep in my mind I order from the wholesaler. But, I use optional to viewers. Thank you, very much, Lori.
Hi Gena! I did respond to your question on my other video about doing Poofs with Ruffles on top using both sizes of mesh but with the technique I used in this video, you would use 21” mesh however you can use two different colors for contrast. Thank you for watching, Lori.
I want to use a small wreath o how long do I cut my deco? Love your ideas u come up with. You have slot of talent. I keep trying to o make them look nice. I started too late in life. I'm 66 yrs old.
I really appreciate your kind words and I’m sure your wreaths are beautiful. It just takes practice and you will get better and better at it. If you used a smaller frame then you would cut the mesh the same length and just make sure your pipe cleaners are 4” apart on your frame. I hope that helps. Thank you, Lori.
Please put the ribbons on the wreath also I’m a new Hard Working Mom viewer, even though I’m not a mom I’ve been making baskets for all my family and friends and great great nieces, for a very very long time and I’m happy to see too see ya program but how do I get started with my materials..Like a rolling cutter etc.etc.
Hello and welcome, there Deborah. Most of all the mesh somewhere somehow they could fray. When cutting it you may fold it a little so you would tuck in some of the mesh and or you may also use E6000 I have used Krylon clear coat glossy but its when needed only. Make sure to try not to get your ribbons it might stain them. Also, spray from far away. I hope it helps also depending on the type of mesh you use does matter. Don't forget to like and share. Thank you, Lori.
Hello Angela! I’m really happy you started making wreaths and yes it’s very addictive. The two methods great for beginners are the ruffle method where you cut your mesh into 30” pieces and just walk your fingers from the beginning to the end which makes a bow tie. The second is the woodland ruffle where you cut your mesh into 35” pieces and you curl the ends of each piece and then ruffle it together. You can use a chip clip to hold the curls while you ruffle the mesh. I normally use 10” and 21” wide mesh. I have so many videos explaining each method in detail. If you have any questions then let me know. Thank you, Lori.
Watching the replay. Very interesting, never seen this before.. If you wanted to do this with 2 different rolls & would you still do 15" cuts? I'm a big fan of your little bows.
I find I waste a lot of time trying to find out where in the video you said what length to cut mesh. Please list cutting info where your links are located. Thanks. You’re not the only one. Would save so much time when we’re trying to make your wreaths.
Hello Jan! I went to check and I did list all the information in the description of the video. It says that my mesh was cut at 15” and ribbons at 12”. I always list that information in the description box. Thank you for watching, Lori.

Hello there! With this method I would say no because you wouldn’t get a nice Poof if you’re crisscrossing it. You can definitely try it and see if you like the look. Thank you, Lori.
Hello Nancy! You can use fabric mesh with any technique like poof, poof ruffle, and poof curl. It might be a little harder to manipulate but it will make a beautiful wreath. Thank you, Lori.

You would just put lights either on the frame before you put any mesh on or at the end by weaving it through the mesh. If you didn’t want the back of the wreath to show then you can use a round placement or a sheet of felt cut into a circle and you would attach it with zip ties. I hope that helps. Thank you, Lori.

I've just started making wreaths. I've only used the pull thru method. any advice for someone who is just now getting started on this addictive hobby?
Hello Angela! I’m really happy you started making wreaths and yes it’s very addictive. The two methods great for beginners are the ruffle method where you cut your mesh into 30” pieces and just walk your fingers from the beginning to the end which makes a bow tie. The second is the woodland ruffle where you cut your mesh into 35” pieces and you curl the ends of each piece and then ruffle it together. What size frame did you use please.
Hello Jane! I used a 15” work wreath. Thank you for watching, Lori.

how would you add lights? what about the pipe cleaners in the back?
You would just put lights either on the frame before you put any mesh on or at the end by weaving it through the mesh. If you didn’t want the back of the wreath to show then you can use a round placement or a sheet of felt cut into a circle and you would attach it with zip ties. I hope that helps. Thank you, Lori.
Love this idea!!! Thanks again for being so creative. What days and time do you do your live tutorials?

Thank you so much Lori. I really needed this. I have so many rolls I can do this with. How many left over rolls did you use to get 18 pieces?
Hello, there Michelle. I have used 3 rolls but now remember it all depends on how much you have left on each roll. Don't forget to like and share. Thank you, Lori.
Loti can make bow with the EZ bow maker. I need to see it again. Thank you.
what do you use for hot glue. Can you provide a link to the skillet/melting pot for the hot glue...is it better than a hot glue gun?
