Just placed a preorder. Love the option for replaceable blades on the scalpel tool. I have a phantom and bought it because, to my knowledge, it is the only plier multitool with a replaceable utility blade attachment. Is there a possibility we may see this added to the FLEX or is it to small?
For me and I'm thinking they might be able to make a phantom with a flex handle. This makes a nice alternative and an additionnal base platform. We will be able to use the fat blades and the flex ones. Also have the super large scissors and the pliers. My request for that handle will be 2 long tools where the saw originally was and 5 small.
I'm wondering if this would be made or anything but I think the flex is a great system and should be expanded with other platforms. I tried the configurator and it's well thought up and allow the Idea I think. It's having other flex tool platforms. Heavy, Medium (current flex) and light ones, mini, knife frames and even a flex style of some existing roxon tools. The Heavy versions would have 4 long implements and 10 small. The light is 2 long and 4 small. The knife tools will either have nothing or tools like the large scissors and have the rest to use the systems I would like to see a variant of the new KS with phantom blades using also the flex stuff. Also mini stuff with only short tools. On the tool itself I don't know if this can be made but I will ask anyways. Make the long implements raise a bit more to make them easier to deploy. And allow tools like the bit driver and the other drivers to lock 90° if possible. As for the tools themselves there is a couple of them I can suggest here. -Mini tool holder, a small implement to hold things like tweezers, sim card ejector, pin, tooth pick, micro pen, and such. The implement holds 2 tools. -Flash drive implement, this one will take some slots but will use TF cards so people can put what they want. -5mm square philips. -mini electrician blade. -T shank holder -2 or 3 slotted 1/4" Socket holder. -low profile ratchet driver, it won't have a lot of teeth but will be great as a driver. -4, 5 and 6 mm keys for radiator purge 5mm triangle key or have those for the driver -nail clipper. -nail file. -schrader valve driver -multi wrench for small nuts up to 10 mm? Or have a thin Adjustable one -mini hook tool -standard key for electric cabinets, like 405, 455, 850, 1242E, H520, etc... -a pry tool with nail puller -Usb c flashlight implement. -tanto blades big and small. -cheese blade -a multi square key for doors without handles although that thing can be made for the bit driver. -a reamer blade. I submit those things here but that doesn't mean ROXON have to make them it's also to third party to see hoping it serves 😊
Here is a video of a prototype frame that we're working on. It will have fitted with G10 scales. Skip to Video Time: 3:05 ua-cam.com/video/t8GDlC9d-Sg/v-deo.html
@@RoxonTool Thanks I saw this vid my suggestion to the tool is pretty much the same as the video maker. Use single flex handles and add a non customizable tool to the other side where the pliers head uses to be.
Merci
Thank you for your message. I like the customizable aspect, but not a fan of the conventional side-by-side handle design. It has never felt comfortable in my hand when using various implements. I prefer the SOG Baton design, which gives a nice, slender, inline handle. Although SOG cheaped out on good steel for the implements and messed up the pliers jaw design so they slip into the handles when under heavy pressure.
I own a couple of roxon tools and they are confortable mostly the recent models. However maybe They might consider other frames to fit people needs and tastes.
It's a shame that international buyers can only shop on Amazon and Aliexpress. There you are limited in the tools you can select and it's more expensive. Missed opportunity.
Finally I can make the knifeless multitool I actually want, needs a way to store tweezers but thats it
Video Time: 3:05 We have a prototype of a pen & tweezer holder ua-cam.com/video/T1jIlXabQVk/v-deo.html

@RoxonTool okay, thank you!
If the pliers have more than a thin piece of sheet metal acting on them, this'll beat GOAT Tools quite handily

Hello, we are so sorry. We are aware of this issue and we are working on building a better shop experience for the international audiences. 😊
Squared off handles and a protruding pocket clip aren't going to make this very comfortable to use.
They are actually quite rounded.
