Having played around with chest, chin and helmet mounts, I found I best like the chest mount but using a goose neck connector so the camera is the right way up and above the centre of the chest mount, so when in a riding position it’s more forward with the action and a little less of the bike and rider. When the camera is upside down with the normal GoPro connector, it’s just a bit too low and back.
@@ForestMountainBiker If you want to know roughly what that chest mount with goose neck connector setup looks like, if you go to the latest video on my channel (dated 27 May); shot using my GoPro H11 set to 5.3k, 24FPS, Hyperview (the Loam Ranger's suggested settings). I'll add up front, my riding kung-fu is definitely not as cool as yours though, so prepare for disappointment in that department 🤣
