Your honest opinions are soooo refreshing. I think your children are blessed to have a teacher mum...in isolation, I am sure you are chock full of ideas. I, like you prefer crochet, although I do knit from time to time. Crochet = relax..knit=moderate stress. I Enjoy your channel!
Thanks for sharing Summer! I haven't received my knitcrate yet, but I received my sockcrate a week and a half ago. The sock crate is beautiful this month, all sparkle.
I saw last month's and wish I had the money to get it so badly. The color is sooooooo beautiful! I LOVE Alpaca. I made my Mother a sweater for Christmas out of Alpaca and it was so great to work with.
The green is really pretty, I got the chestnut color, and it's really pretty. I've never really used alpaca, but I'm gonna give it a try. TFS. Blessings 💕
Hi! I got the same one! It is gorgeous! 💕 thank you telling us about the goodies. I could not figure out what the little triangle thingies were. I am going to make that capelette.
I got chestnut. I want the ancient pines to use with it. Fall colors..... They use two strands together so works for DK. Next month is sugar...sparkle. Sport yarn.
Summer for a yarn over you just lay your yarn on the needle and continue to bring it around the needle. Continue your knit or pearl which ever the pattern calls for.
Hi summer! Sorry to hear your feeling the “I love my family but really? 24/7?” blues...lol I find my bedroom is way more interesting than usual these days; quieter too! If you are trying brioche, the yarn over is done in conjunction with the slip stitch, otherwise they’re usually done before or after a stitch (there’s also reverse yarn overs like in a surprisingly stretchy bind off)... might I suggest a quick UA-cam tutorial for the one your after, just to refresh yourself. I enjoy watching your content! Take care
I've wondered if I'm allergic or sensitive to alpaca, too, since I get itchy when I'm working with it. But I can wear a completed project with it without a problem.
Hi Summer, I watch a podcast by Barbara Benson called "watch Barbara knit" she is a designer but she has videos that explain different techniques with stitches. I enjoy her videos a lot.
I think you got a pretty color. I wish I could find some socks in that color. A pair of pants would be nice too. I don't know how alpaca feels. The caplet is pretty.
Hello Summer, Beautiful colour, but I'm not a fan of Alpaca, I purchased two pricey skeins and they felt very soft but shed little white fibres everywhere while I was crocheting and my project shed so I was a little disappointed, take care stay safe, Enjoy your day 💕
Hi Summer! The last couple month don't seem to be KnitCrates best for sure. I didn't get February box until last week. Makes me wonder when I will get March box. The green is ok. I also do not know what colour I am getting. I hope it's a pretty one. Hope you have a good rest of your week. God bless
You seem a little stressed out. Me too. I’m working from home as well but I’m in finance so I don’t have to interact face to face with little shorties except my own kids. I don’t need hats and cowls and scarves. I am using my yarn for shawls and using a pin to connect it. Stay strong and calm
I just want to now how many cowls and how many beanies can one make Knitcrate needs to find something else - I am starting to rethink my Knitcrate - however I love my Leither Box!!
I don’t care if I NEVER knit or crochet a pair of socks. I don’t know why it’s such a big deal...but... I th8nk people feel ores sure day to knit socks...and become “real” knitters... Just my opinion. I’m a nervous knitter... That’s because I know that unless I am with my charity knitting group,,, at our LYS..,I’m in serious trouble if I make a mistake. When I try to fix things, “things” only get worse..much worse. And yet, I like the look and feel if knitted things... . Especially hats, garments, and I love to knit baby blankets, using the Grandma’s Favorite Dishcloth pattern. But I’m holding my breath the whole time. SO.., I’m having fun crocheting Preemie/Angel blankets. I knit and crochet matching hats, The little blankets are totally adductung...
You want to change lest Mont yarn for the green i love the green but dont love lest février yarn but love the green one i in Canada if you want to change yarn let me no sort for my englich i français lol love your vidéo
Dear Summer, I had just the same problems with the yarnovers. This video from Barbara Benson really helped me: ua-cam.com/video/bcD5hXwZpN8/v-deo.html Stay healthy!

I am a knitter who is learning to crochet......appreciate hearing about some knitting too
It's a shame you might be allergic because it's such a soft yarn...baby alpaca is my favorite! And Evergreen is a gorgeous color!

My first time with alpaca.
I love it, but not jazzed with the patterns again.
Oh my you make me laugh out loud 💖 when commenting on the booklet. $24 a hank, too expensive for me. My motto Keep calm and crochet on! Stay safe 😍
I love my sparkly sock crate. We got a silicone teabag as our goody
Summer for a yarn over you just lay your yarn on the needle and continue to bring it around the needle. Continue your knit or pearl which ever the pattern calls for.

I totally wish I had gotten that blue sock crate yarn
I think the caplet is cute and I live that colour.
THIS TO SHALL PASS, it's definitely a learning curve.

It’s a blueish green and yeah I don’t know how I feel about the alpaca yarn either.
Seems like the sock yarn is almost always prettier.
The shawl is pretty if you want you could do that.
the color is a bit dark for me but it does look exceptionally soft. thank you for sharing.
I like that colour 😊I still haven't gotten mine yet so don't know what colour I have since I have the surprise box
I just want to now how many cowls and how many beanies can one make Knitcrate needs to find something else - I am starting to rethink my Knitcrate - however I love my Leither Box!!
Hi Summer, hope all is good with your family. Still not sure about knitcrate.
brebis is french for lamb
I got the rusty red. Not crazy about reds.
Pretty green. What are you going to make with it?
Several Knitcrate recipients said that they're allergic to Alpaca, the green is very pretty though.

The knitting caps were supposed to be in the crate we got those useless little knit caps in. I really need more knit caps, lol.
Hi aunty summer😊
I think you touch your face more with alpaca because it's like hair compared to wool
I would trade your green yarn for my chestnut???
I don’t like any of the colors either,I’m not into dark drab colors.🤨
Alpaca is supposed to be naturally hypoalergenic🤔
You want to change lest Mont yarn for the green i love the green but dont love lest février yarn but love the green one i in Canada if you want to change yarn let me no sort for my englich i français lol love your vidéo
I didn't like my color or the choices.
