Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!
Thanks, you are welcome.
Gracias por tu tecnica!
De nada, gracias por el comentario.
I tried the 3” round hubs on a Canada goose. It was a non starter for me. Thanks
Cool- thanks for the comment
How do you get them and what airlines have them
What is the advantage of a square hub vs. a large diameter (broom handle) slotted dowel with the wings centered?
The square hubs simply make it easier to cut the slots on the table saw
just getting started on whirly gigs...do you have a video on making the prop blade holder? thanks
I think you are talking about the "Hubs" Try this one ua-cam.com/video/hnj1TrwcOhw/v-deo.html Or this one ua-cam.com/video/0zcpFK7OJzs/v-deo.html Good luck with your whirligigs ! 🙂

Hi duke what size are your bird wings would you be kind a enough to giv me dimension s kind regards Ron 🎉
These bird wing blades have an 18 inch span.
@@gwheyduke menny thanks duke kind regards Ron
Shaping your wing? Jigsaw or bandsaw?
The bandsaw with a 1/4-inch blade was used for this one, but you could also use a jigsaw.
What would are you using for the wings themselves?
These are cut from a two by four from Lowes. They are usually Douglass Fir or Pine. I have tried to read the stamped labels on the wood, but it's some sort of industry code and hard to figure out. Mostly avoid plywood because it deteriorates quickly in the weather.
I have my whirligig made, but when it gets in the wind, the blades fall off can you tell me where
