I remember when I bought my first gretsch guitar. I loved it, took it to church I was so happy. And God told me to give it to a pastor who worked in the audio. I remember I wrestle for weeks. I did not want to give it up. One day I could not take it anymore, I called the church and said I'm on my way and this pastor needs to be there, he has to. I wrestled my whole way to the church. I gave the guitar to the pastor and told him God told me to give it to you. He was in denial at first saying no we can share it. I told him no God told me it's yours. He started crying and praising God, it turns out that was his favorite guitar and had always wanted one but couldn't afford it. He told me that his newly wed wife had recently commited adultery and they were going to get a divorce. God wanted to bless him and show him that he loved him in his time of need. It was a powerful experience for the both of us. He still has the guitar today and that was 8 years ago.
If you are struggling with sin, again and again, and after you sin you feel horrible ,as I did, and you Fear the Lord as I Do, but you keep struggling with this, as i was (drugs,fornication,pornography,masturbation,alcohol,smoking) all i can do is tell you how i was set free, (my testimony) I CRIED OUT TO THE LORD!!! and kept praying to the Lord, and kept crying out to the Lord, and kept telling the Lord that i dont want to do these things anymore ,and I kept asking the Lord to take these things away from me, As I was being strongly convicted by the HOLY Spirit , I was in deep fear , and I new it was time for me to change, and I kept praying, and crying out to Jesus, I didnt know how the Lord was gonna do it ? But I Trusted in Him. I let him know my hearts desire , and what my intentions were, that I want to finish the good race, and walk the narrow path, and to be everything that I was called to be, i want to Glorify the Lord in all things, with my heart, mind, soul, and body, also Im looking forward to the Lords return, and want to be ready for him, for when he returns, as we are living in these Last Days, we are to be without spot or wrinkle, and we want to be blameless before the Lord Amen Praise God !!! He Heard my Cries, He Heard My Prayers! He answered my prayers! He Set Me Free From All These Things !!!!! I was a slave to sin ( drugs,fornication,pornography,masturbation,alcohol,smoking )God broke the chains of Bondage off of me, Amen and he will do the same for you too, he loves his children, he is the good shepherd he corrects are steps if we sincerely ask, so Praise His Mighty Name And Give Him All The GLORY !!! He is worthy of all Praise ,and tell him how much you Love him. Brothers and Sisters if you are reading this, now is the time to put away sin, and fully surrender you life to the Lord !! I pray that you do in Jesus name, and these words will inspire you to do so, And dont give up !! He will set you free too, in Jesus name, and deliver you of all these things, that you are struggling with, as he did with me.Our Heavenly Father wants us to cry out to him, and pray to him, without ceasing, and come to the realization that we need him. I can do all things thru Christ, who strengthens me. Amen God Bless -David

Jeremiah 31:3 ESV "if indeed you continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel that you heard, which has been proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, became a minister." Colossians 1:23
I would say just try to be conscious of your thoughts and whatever you are struggling with and throughout the day if you see yourself doing that thing that you need to deny, repeat this verse and walk away from it. This could be sin or whatever your struggle is.
