Remembering me to my first midi Sessions in the 80.s with Korg DDM1 Kawai Q80 Sequencer and my Ensonic ESQ1 … nobody wanted to hear such stuff at this time .. ☺️

What’s that huge blue synth he’s playing?!

Rhodes Chroma with Enabler - I think the "Endabler" is some kind of custom controller for some rare Rhodes synth called a Chroma. I don't really know and I've had a bottle of wine already but from what I understand...I don't know. Many thanks.

The blue one is a PPG Wave 2.2/2.3 :-)

This is also true for unlucky people - they have so much as they have.

Yeah...but I don't think any of it is essential, judging by his music. Sounds like he could make the exact same stuff with just Ableton. No shade on Matthew, he seems like a cool guy.

the big console has been removed from the apb web page and seems to have been discontinued. shame.

For quite some years, yes. Their H1020 console is way too small for my application.

Man the primary video stuff is so over exposed. For a company known for excellence in their audio why is the video work so bad? This is embarrassing 🙈

Hey I made the video and I'll take your comment as a critique for next time. Here, unfortunately, nothing more has been salvageable. I filmed here with slog and noticed it only in post-processing. The only other option would be not to publish the video, but it is far too informative for that. In addition, APB does not build video cameras.

@@steffenhammer1290 no worries, it’s just the exposure was bad and often there are so many cuts when the focus of the camera jumps back and forth. It just made it not as watchable compared to videos from other companies. Just my two cents. I hope you can do better next time :)

@@steffenhammer1290when in slog, it should take grading and WB adjustment really well. It feels like the problem is not the footage but rather the post or lack thereof. Just slapping a custom LUT on it would make it look 10 times better.
On the other hand - we are super spoiled these days. I do remember the grainy vhs days… so yeah. Mathew is amazing as always.
