ABOUT BROOKLYN NINE-NINE
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" follows the exploits of hilarious Det. Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and his stoically ever-professional captain, Raymond Holt (Andre Braugher), along with their diverse, lovable colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. In this final season of the series, Jake and the squad must try to balance their personal lives and their professional lives over the course of a very difficult year.
Rounding out the ensemble is Sgt. Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumera), who has a passion for organization and a weakness for dork dancing; Lt. Terry Jeffords (Terry Crews), a mountain of a man whose most powerful muscle is his sweetheart; Jake's best friend and human puppy dog, Det. Charles Boyle (Joe Lo Truglio); and the incredibly secretive, tough-as-nails Rosa Diaz (Stephanie Beatriz). Also part of the Nine-Nine are veteran officers Det. Scully (Joel McKinnon Miller) and Det. Hitchcock (Dirk Blocker), whose only skill as police officers is their ability to make a passable pot of coffee.
Created by Emmy Award-winning writer/producers Dan Goor and Michael Schur, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" won the 2014 Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series - Comedy or Musical and Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical (Samberg). Emmy winner Braugher earned four Emmy nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Capt. Holt.

Rosa being the toughest woman there is while falling in love, being amazing friends with Jake and being vulnerable at the end is the reason why she's without a doubt my favourite character. Also CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT WHAT AN AMAZING WONDERFUL FANTASTIC ACTRESS STEPHANIE IS? I LOVE HER SO MUCH

@@Animestar21 well her family more or less and for all intents and purposes: owns the valley. And then she sings and gets the occasional animal sidekick, which are the only two requisites cited by Maui, which Film Theory did a video on and determined are in fact the only real constants shown by the official princesses; technically her older sister qualifies more; I think only her grandmother meets the Wreck-it-Ralph 2 requisites/

The only thing the writers messed up with the Rosa character was making her a PI.
Yeah that really didn’t make sense and seemed like a terrible and lazy woke plot. Rosa’s a badass who grabs problems by the throat. Having her quit the 99 cos of institutional racism was just bad writing. Just my opinion, but surely it would’ve worked better for her to work with a racist/sexist person on a case and be cold and confrontative with them and maybe they say something and she maybe twists their arm and threatens to break it (like with Hitchcock) when they make a comment directly about her, and eventually she reports them for everything and gets commended for doing so? Idk that seems like it’d have suited her character better to me.

Tbh you learn to work around it or quickly fix it once the helmet comes off. The worst (and more unrealistic) part of having to wear a motorbike helmet is that it can rub off your makeup if you're not careful 😂

Stephenie is my favorite, great acting and beautiful, on a side note, even that I love Amy abd Jake, sometimes I really wanted something between Jake and Rosa ( don't judge me) 😂. Seriously, after Jake and Amy is the best character development, Rosa development was little by little growing.
