- The second video in this series on the Navis Wheels demo van we've built, for when we're over in Europe.
I think people expected us to facelift but I hope we show in this video, you can make an early T5 look good without having to facelift it.

Love it, but for me I would have loved to have seen actual sign writing that was distressed to look vintage 🤙
That was the original plan but we ran out of time. We may re visit it in the future.
I agree. It’s a fantastic makeover but the sign seems a bit weak and out of place.
Still love my pre face T5, will never face lift it. Thinking about removing my rear spoiler now, think it would suit the Swamper look better. Great vids guys. 👍

Yeah the side windows were fake and just bonded on. Sign writing over them just won't have had the desired finish we wanted.
There was no need for heated rear windows or the wiper as the van has a bulk head. We wanted to remove the wiper for a cleaner look. I find barn door wipers aren't very pretty. Keeping some windows still allow some light in for the drive as the bulk head does have a window in. Plus THQ EU are also the European distributor for camperglass.co.uk so it helps to show the quality to customers.
Being a 'work van' I really wanted the commercial look, but the caravelle bumper is such a nice space. This way we get both 😍
The beauty with this being the Navis demo van is it'll have lots of wheels over the year. You wait until you see the new Navis design on route, I think it'll look killer on those 😍

I don't actually have a Transporter but I love that the work you do and products you sell are always to a high standard/quality and I really enjoy the channel..
Also love the creativity of your projects but it's inevitable that the further you push the boundaries, the more marmite they become.
I'm sure it looks awesome in the metal.
It's definitely a great advert for Navis wheels which, as you said at the start, was the whole point.

Upgrading the suspension, moving the components under the floor and adding the silent compressors

Taking the side window out seemed retrograde at first but with a bulkhead it's pointless so the van makes more sense than combi 👍
Apart from pure aesthetics, I don't see the point of the rear windows without the wipers. May as well have gone full commercial with no glazing👎
I get it when you buy a Startline to look commercial and upgrade it but taking a Caravelle bumper and painting it black just seems like sacrilege. I get your intention but it seems a shame to me 👎
The interior looks great. Wouldn't have thought of VXR seats but they look impressive and the trim is superb. Like the neat controls for the air ride instead of sacrificing an air vent or tacking the controller onto some random dash panel. 👍
The wheels wouldn't be my choice but on this van they look really cool 👍
In its intended role as a demonstrator, this van should get plenty of attention and be a good advert for your business. Job done 👍👍😄😄

Loving the clean look of the original face...less is more...I got a shuttle with the caravelle front bumper in offroad grey... think the commercial look bumpers wod look right on a full window van?
I think so but I'm a massive commercial look fan.
I'm gone from shiny splits and bays to og paint and patina..shiny t5 but every time a clean it now I find more dings and scratches..think I'll go commercial look now...resist the lift! (Although I do like those light upgrades you guys are doing)

It's called chameleon tint. Most window tinters will have it. From inside you can't even tell it's there.

It's a modified kombi bulk head
love your content, and this looks great! Just one thought, the new T7 has 5x112? Will Navis make wheels with 5x112 ? Would really like a set of these for my caddy van.

Didn’t think I was going to like it as I thought it was nice to begin with. As a facelift owner I’m not keen on the pre but it works well especially with the wheels and styling. I definitely need a set of the steels you took off it though!👍🏻
They are 20" Navis Holey's. We have them in stock 😊

Personally the grey doesn't suit the color of the wheels or the sign writing. IMHO the van color needs to be changed to an retro cream color. The quality of the work looks amazing as always.
That would look awesome but beyond the budget of what we wanted to spend on this.
