Reading between the lines, the actual values of Anderson and Vlachodimos are £25m and free (to get his wage off the books) respectively. In the deal sheets, Anderson is £35m, helping Newcastle comply with the PSR rules, and Vlachodimos is £10m, giving Forest a profit for PSR. Two clubs helping each other. As a Toon fan I can let Forest fans know that Anderson is a big talent, but much more suited to a 4-2-3-1 either number 10 or left wing, than Eddie Howe's 4-3-3.

Its not a fair market price for him. These fees are psr loopholes that premier league clubs are taking advantage of before the end of a psr deadline date. Ive seen anderson play, hes a good player with great potential considering hes already proven in the prem, but a 35 million pound player no hes not. The same as vlach being nowhere near good enough for newcastle, but it was a we scratch your back you scratch ours psr deal

He really isn’t though is he? Was the best player in preseason, got a really nasty back injury but done really well for us and was ready to kick on. I don’t think he was worth £35 million but by the plethora of people gutted he’s leaving shows he has massive massive potential and the only reason he’s leaving is the 100% profit we’d receive and also him not getting enough game time.
