Absolutely, most sunnis will have a few types of responses: 1-Deny it completely, it's a Shia fabrication 2-It was a cordial visit...funny if it was cordial why did Abu Bakr (RA) regret it? I believe at the very least, something very very unpleasant took place. Beyond that, I'm not 100% sure.

So we could say that today many Muslims are following “Umar’s version of Islam” sort to speak… an Islam were Muawiya and Zayd are heroes, an Islam were the prophet’s ص family is degraded…
This event happened just before the death of Fatimah (as) on the same year. And yet again, conveniently for apologists, Fatimah died because "she missed prophet too much"
Abu Bakr regretted the actions to the House of Fatima, yet did never gave her Fadak as she requested. Then he regretted being elected yet secured the same Khilafah for Umar. How does that make sense? This is were the Sheikh is still biased due to his upbringing and education in a Sunni environment. He clearly studied history intensively, yet on this topic cannot let fully go of his Sunni Madhabi past.
Arguable. The narration on Abu Baker's regret for the actions that occurred outside the house of Fatima is contested. Of course Shaykh Hassan doesn't believe in the exaggerations about the rib and the door.
Becuase after the verse that you should respect the prophets houses in quran Abubakar asked pointing to fatima s house , prophet reminded him that this house is amongst the best of them.
There is not a single sahih narration about this. And Ali AS who destroyed khaybar single handedly would have cut them into pieces if anyone even looked at Fatima SA.
I think the bigger question is, what does any of it mean for you today. Clearly none of the people involved are holy, guided or beyond reproach. Basically, they are human and just like any human throughout history, flawed and beholden to their own desires. So the issue here isn´t to know what exactly happened down to a play by play commentary as the minutes pass from Mohammeds (pbuh) death until now. Rather, it is what does any of it mean and are you able to discern the meaning while embracing doubt, uncertainty and a very real and unsweetened understanding of all the figures involved, sparing noone.

jIt´s a little more complex than that. You should give all sides more benefit of the doubt, none of this is clear cut or uncontestable.
Why is it referred to as Sayyida Fatima's house and not Imam Ali's house?
It is their house. So, house of Fatima and Ali
