01:35:00 When I heard them yelling "dragon" during the council meeting and Aemond's haste to get to Vhagar It really showed how vulnerable the city is with only one defending dragon. She's too big for the dragonpit, she's so far away and Dragonstone is so close, those "jets" definitely could not scramble in time to really protect the city.

I Genuinely thought at the end when they were shouting Dragon that Rhaenyra had already rolled up and was going to take KL right then and there. It seemed like a bit of a gamble to alert the Greens to the fact that they had more dragon riders so they can prepare, there's 4 adult dragons RIGHT THERE against Vhagar once they lured them to Dragonstone. JUST ATTACK they could've just taken her out right then.

01:44:00 I think they definetly take King's landing next week. I think that's the extra emphasis on the scene with Larys, Aegon and Orwyle. Larys is basically telling them we have to have the king ready to leave at a moments notice.
The black goat had to do with blood majic which is a valarian practice both Damen and Rynera are both practicing blood majic without even knowing it , damen sacrificed Blackwood for an army , rynera sacrificed the dragon seeds for dragons
Love they hinted at Saera being Hughs mother!
My head cannon is Saera had quite a lot of kids* in Lys and sent them to and around Dragonstone in the hopes some of them would one day claim dragons. Seems like the ultimate FU she could do to Jahaerys.
I also like to think that Addam of Hulls mother was a daughter of Saera too, think the timeline works.

I liked that they showed the disable guy not just for their representation but it shows the targaryen sometimes make dragon like babies and mentally and physically disabled babies i think it a side effects of what ever their ancestors did to bound with dragons

Dragon keepers were out of line. The dragon seeds knew the risks.
So when every other character abides by their duties and principles it's great, unless it goes against what Rhaenyra wants? Nah, I respect the dragon keepers for speaking up - their commitment to maintain the sanctity of the dragons is impressive. Rhaenyra brought those smallfolk there with the promise of power and a rise in social status, when they tried to leave her guards deliberately kept them inside the cave. She brought people into an incredibly risky and dangerous situation and did almost nothing to prepare them and it was a bloodbath.
The conflict between Aemond and Larys will payoff big time once Aemond makes it to Harrenhall!😮💨 ⚔️ 🩸

This was a 12/10 episode for me
I’m gonna give this episode an 8.5. I enjoyed it but I have issues with Daemon’s characterization; they’re not about to get over on that just because Oscar Tully was extraordinary. I also really REALLY didn’t need Alicent’s spirit quest retreat. It was beautiful and cinematic but extremely unnecessary.
46:14 I felt like when she heard Seasmoke has a rider, she thought Laenor had come back, since Sir Stephan got roasted maybe that was also confirmation that Laenor's dragonbond was still active. On the beach she looks angry and on the brink of tears because maybe she was hoping to have her loyal friend back and now she's sure he's dead and has to contend with this unknown man.
I see no concern from Rhaenyra in regards to what could have happened to Leanor, which is disappointing from her character and the show fails to address how Seasmoke could get a different rider.

I said with how y’all reacted last week, if the creators are big of fans as they say then they know how bad nettles is wanted. I think they been trying fake out everyone so it will be a shock when we see her
The black goat is one of the forms of the many-faced god, as is the stranger, because the many-faced god is death. One of the statues in the House of Black and White is the black goat.
I also dislike Rhaena’s storyline. I get that she wants a dragon, but at the cost of leaving her half brothers alone?! They are her responsibility. She could have attempted bonding with the dragon while she was still being hosted, not waiting till the last minute.
I couldn't see much on the darker parts of this episode. Twas very The Long Night in places for my brightness settings😅
Hopefully this season ends where it started. In the North.

Im so lost on hiw y'all gave such a high score, solid 7. The Reyna story line is w bug wtf are you doing right now. The whisper not telling about the rumors just as a heads up was funny but lame and the last 10 minutes are the best

Still not okay about how much they've changed things. Cutting out the Dragon Morning, and Nettles, is not forgivable. And I said if they do that shit, Im gonna stop watching the show, because Im done with jackasses choosing to make a series based on books, when they have zero intentions of FOLLOWING THE DAMN BOOKS! If ryan condal wants to make up his own crap, he can make a series not already based on someone else's work!
I really hope it is a fake out. I want to have a show that I can enjoy. But Im choosing to refuse shows that disrespect books from now on, because it is happening EVERY TIME... D & D ruining GoT, Netflix with The Witcher... I could make a whole long list, but Im sick of it! We need to stop tolerating directors/show writers using already written books they have no right to change & twist. Just because their untalented asses couldnt come up with their own stories to make a series on. Stealing other people's work & disrespecting it. *F* that crap!

I'm an anomaly. I didnt like the episode....Alicent having a picnic is such a waste of time. And what are they doing with Rhaena? It's just stupid. Nettles or no Nettles, Rhaena story makes no sense. And the dragon keepers resigned? Really? Do they get some sort of retirements plan? Watching Oscar Tully burn Daemon was awesome, though
