this year for platinums was my best year.
I got Skyrim, avengers, guardians of the Galaxy, cyberpunk Watch dogs Legion, the most recent three assassin's creeds ( not mirage)
maneater, jedi fallen order Just cause 3 and 4, and about five smaller titles.
I have many unfinished games, like red dead 1 and 2 far cry 5 and 6, witcher 3, and more.
However i might hang up my cape for the platinum hunt for a while. I don't have as much time anymore with final exams at school and working too, as well as commitments like DofE (UK achievement where you go Buckingham palace and meet a royal family member as an award for completion).
I will take the occasional few platinums tho, but if i get 2 hours one evening i would rather spend it enjoying the game rather than grinding.

First off, massive well done. Some great games there, some that I even have managed to a platinum myself. This year I achieved 24 which I’m happy with given that I mainly only game in the evenings. Currently working on cleaning up Red Dead 2. Just got the 100% (only took 5 years) and now to the online. Good luck next year, hope you had a great Christmas, and Happy New Year.

I have school so obviously my time is limited to play video games in general but recently I have made a goal to myself (since games can be $70) is not only just get the platinum trophy but also get 100% completion as well so every single trophy will be achieved--you inspired me to actually do this and keep going for the platinum trophies and open my own UA-cam account. Thank you, and I cannot wait to see what next year will be in store for you :)

You had a blast this year! I'm really happy I discovered this channel. This was my first year as a trophy hunter and I only got 27 plats but I'm really proud of them. RDR2, Injustice, 100% AC Odyssey and Minecraft are my biggest achivments

congratulations on all the growth this year you deserve it, this was my first year trophy hunting and I made a account just for it, I have 21 games platinumed and fully 100% some was very grindy, and the few that I haven't completed yet was bugged when they came out and I haven't gone back to them yet

I just started platinuming hunting this year in June and got 33 platnium trophies.. happy with this and hope for the new year just to keep trophy hunting games I enjoy and not forcing myself to do Plats that I find boring

Such an incredible ride it has been so far! Really glad I found your channel early on. I'm pretty picky with the creators I give full watch time on every single video. But you make it effortless. This year I have spent time cleaning up my platinum backlog, and got a good amount done. For next year, I wanna do full on franchises, from game 1 to the last. On top of that list are all the Yakuza games, and all GTA games.

Hey studdy I highly recommend getting a ps3 and getting the sly trilogy and the ratchet collections they are very worthy videos and easy enjoyable platinums. There are also so many more gems stuck on the ps3 like mgs4,mgsr,WET,prince of Persia trilogy, splinter cell trilogy,silent hill, dead space 2&3, the force unleashed 1&2 and many more that would make awesome videos. You can still use your current account on ps3 too just sign in btw. Awesome year man.

I got 8 platinums this past year. The reason I don't get very many plats is that I truly have to get caught up in the game to want to go for a plat, and for several games I end up running into the same problem. I go from enjoying all the game has to offer, to just feeling like I'm not enjoying the experience anymore. God Of War Ragnarok is my latest, it was an incredible game, but honestly by the time I was able to beat Gna and Hrolf I had felt like it wasn't worth it anymore.

That comes out to approximately 47 platinum trophies this year, with the biggest grinds being Pillars of Eternity 2 (approximately 80-100 hours, when I didn't have a trophy guide), Fallout 4, AC 4: Black Flag, AC 3, and Star Wars: Battlefront 2. Definitely plan on doing more worthwhile platinums next year.

The reason I got so many platinums in January was because I was just grinding them out so that when I played Hogwarts Legacy at launch, I could have it become one of my milestone platinums on PSN Profiles. Unfortunately, I had popped Astro's Playroom as my 50th in December, so I had to get 24 platinums done quick within 2 and a half months. By the end of January, I was tired, just wanted to take a break, and had to work on my final year of university (hence the huge drop in platinum numbers).
FYI, I can officially make it 48 platinums this year as I just got the plat for Assassin's Creed: Mirage half an hour ago. Hopefully, this coming year, I can push it to 50 platinums (if I focus on my usual 4-5/10 difficulty plats) or can make it to a decent 20-30 if I go for the 8-10/10 difficulty platinums this year. Of course, I'll make sure to pace myself.
I got the overwatch 2 platinum yesterday. Was a hell of a grind hahaha

For me, I just don't have a lot of time to do multiple platinum journeys, although I did get a few this year. I also only go for platinums on games I enjoy rather than going for any platinum regardless of the game

You like tough grinds? Could be worth checking out Deep Rock Galactic. By far the best game that’s ever been part of PS+ in my opinion. Some fun trophies but requires a hefty chunk of time to plat. Would definitely enjoy seeing you play it

I think my most was 77 in one year. That was during the lockdowns (2020) so there was nothing else to do. It's a mix of AAA, AA, and some easy games. This was right near the beginning of my trophy hunting journey as I officially started hunting in 2019. Of course that number isn't counting the 100%'S (complete games without platinums) I got during that year either, which was 5. So it was a busy year. Currently sitting at 204 platinums.
Well done especially because alot of them are longer games, i tend to burn out after finishing a long game.

Rust was long, and brutal for a new player, but its for sure not as hard as others

A cool challenge would be if each month the trophies were based on the first letter of the month e.g final fantasy for February, assassins creed for April

I earn around 10-11 plats a year. These last two years I have mostly been playing RPGs so some take quite some time to complete.
Also having kids and a full time job means sometimes I just want to crash and do absolutely nothing in the evenings.

I average 24-30 platinums a year. A good mix of AAA games, retro ports, backlogs and indies. I don’t play games with multiplayer trophies.

I did a shit ton of easy stuff this year. Your easy list is way better than mine. But I started off badly with this year with Biomutant which I hated with a passion and was so grindy and tedious that I needed a break so plowed down 9 easy platinums, 6 being stacks. Well 8 actually, but Ben 10: Power Trip on both platforms took some effort especially given how utterly broken both games are on the PS4 and PS5. The PS5 version somehow worse. My game chugged to single digit framerates during a cutscene, froze and I thought the game would crash my whole system. D: Shame as I like that game... at least I didn't buy it.
I also got down to one LEGO game on my PS Vita backlog. Jurassic World. I'll finish up next year. I also did a lot of 100%s that wouldn't count toward anything. I was aiming to get to 60% completion and managed to do so, it was a goal I set for the end of this year 2 years ago knowing that it wasn't possible within one year at the time.
But I also did stuff like Avengers, Borderlands, Kena, Dark Souls 2: Scholar, Elden Ring, Lords of the Fallen (original), Immortals: Feynx Rising (not hard just time consuming), and Pathless which glitched on collectibles and forced me to replay 90% of the game
Only goal I have for next year with trophies is 12 Platinums from really bad games. Not the Life of Black Tiger level bad, but the Skull Island, Gollum, stuff and also just games that should've been good but fell on their face in different ways. Which will let me have a bit more fun since they're not nearly as bad. Things like Gotham Knights, Anthem, Forspoken, maybe Avengers again depending on if I can't get some other things cheap enough. Not about to spend more than $10 on bad games lol
My platinums this year was only 10 platinums but i definitely did better than last year where I only got one platinum 😂
