I am slowly collecting things to try my hand at making an epoxy tumbler. I love your design, and this may be the first one I attempt! I am also a pink girl, and the pinks are gorgeous!
I applied the vinyl right after my first coat of epoxy. Since we spray painted the entire cut and add the alcohol ink. This will make the vinyl a bit harder to remove from the tumbler but just be careful when removing it.
This is so pretty and your video has helped me learn! Thank you! What about sealing your alcohol ink? How many coats of enamel did you use? I've made a few practice tumblers and the alcohol ink is fading or changing colors. Do you know how I can prevent this?
I am glad I have helped. Maybe in the future I can sell my own alcohol ink. I use the Rustoleum Crystal Clear Enamel. 1 good coat would do the job. But I would recommend 2 coats. This cup in particular I did not seal and it still looks like the video, but I did let it sit in my craft room for at least a week (if not more 😬). If you watched my most recent Sally alcohol cup you will see that the ink started to run. I did ended up sealing that cup to prevent it from running.
I used "tack it over and over" to adhere the foil but you can also use mod podge or any clear adhesive you have. The Rainbow Opal Additive I did add to the epoxy.
That pink glitter is gorgeous!

I love your cup
Thank you :)
I love the video and I am going to try this. However, when did you add the vinyl and how do you go back and weed it after you seal it?
I applied the vinyl right after my first coat of epoxy. Since we spray painted the entire cut and add the alcohol ink. This will make the vinyl a bit harder to remove from the tumbler but just be careful when removing it.
I love this cup it so beautiful. Can you tell me what font you used?
Thank you :) . The font I used is "Baby Darling"

We have the same birthday🥳
REALLYYY !!!! How cool 💖 For many years I didn't like my birth day since it was right after v-day but as I got older I learned to love it.
This cup is beautiful! Do you use the adhesive for the gold foil? You added the glitter to the epoxy?
I used "tack it over and over" to adhere the foil but you can also use mod podge or any clear adhesive you have. The Rainbow Opal Additive I did add to the epoxy.
Which alcohol ink colors did you use? I tried to see from the video but couldn't see them all.
Hello! thanks for sharing! I apply my epoxy and the alcohol inks start to blend.. pls help🥲
What color alcohol inks do you use
You used removeable vinyl?
I used regular vinyl. I believe it was Oracal 651
I didn’t understand your alcohol tumbler at all !but it is pretty
