For me, this is what the song is about and that’s why I appreciate it so much. It says to me “you’re a black girl and that’s beautiful enough so get with it sis!” And that’s empowering.

Doesn't anyone hate it when two people make a song, they are immediately compared to each other and who is better... you cannot objectify subjective choices. Perhaps semi-qualitatively, but that's a stretch. Both complement each other to make a cohesive music. That's all that matters
They should’ve had all three artists in the remix and the color show. On the other hand, I personally think the start of Jorja’s verse stood out - which might explain why it became a trend. Either way, I don’t understand why they couldn’t have had Amia Brave do the chorus, and Jorja add on her verse for the remix.
what i dont understand why they brought jorja. Colors is usually a show for really good underground talent on the rise and its meant to push them into the spotlight, Amia Brave could have used that. Especially the ‘don’t touch my hair’ my hair has heavily been my identity and every day it’s an entirely different style but it reminds me of all the times people have tried to police it and violate it. Doesn't anyone hate it when two people make a song, they are immediately compared to each other and who is better... you cannot objectify subjective choices. Perhaps semi-qualitatively, but that's a stretch. Both complement each other to make a cohesive music. That's all that matters

They should’ve had all three artists in the remix and the color show. On the other hand, I personally think the start of Jorja’s verse stood out - which might explain why it became a trend. Either way, I don’t understand why they couldn’t have had Amia Brave do the chorus, and Jorja add on her verse for the remix.

what i dont understand why they brought jorja. Colors is usually a show for really good underground talent on the rise and its meant to push them into the spotlight, Amia Brave could have used that. It doesn't even make sense to me to have jorja here. And I love love jorja. I think the reason it has more views it's because this version has jorja, who already has a dedicated fanbase plus the fact that it is on colors. I really wish they included Amia honestly. This would have been just as succefull outside of this performance. And don't come out here saying it's just a song. Like are you even paying attention to the lyrics. Cmon. It wasnt managed well. I agree though, it would've been a great opportunity for Amia Brave to get some exposure on the Colors Show. They might've chosen Jorja because her part went trending on TikTok. Tbh, I got hooked to Jorja's part - without knowing it was Jorja lol :)
