The naval aspect of odyssey really cements it as my favorite rpg AC. I was a huge fan of black flag and naval exploration and combat was a very welcome addition to the rpg games.
This has just reminded me of how little I've upgraded the Adrestia on my current playthrough...One thing I do wish that had carried over from Origins was the drum. During the naval sections of Origins I enjoyed listening to sound of the ships drum as we rowed into battle
Interesting how in the first 2 levels of the hull upgrades it has one row of oars but in level 3 it has the same design as a light trireme when it comes to the oar/row placing . 1 full at the top and then 2 that go up and down after the other(heavy triremes have 3 full rows of oars) .
Assassin's creed odyssey, the game as a whole is meh, frustrating, bullshit, this is on normal. Naval combat however is a very different tune. I hoped AC Valhalla was gonna have something similar to naval combat but fuck me for thinking vikings you are gonna have crude medieval naval conflict on the broad rivers.

Honestly I thought I was going crazy the first time I properly looked at my upgraded ship
I swear the god I was thinking the same think
Can't believe I've played this game for 180 hours and never noticed the changes, while it's my fav game from the franchise of the last decade
you should play slower and pay attention to details instead of going fast in the game. you'll have a better experience if you play slow
i dont know how people like you exist honestly

@@RumataGames Yup, the love theme!
You made me re-download this game. It’s gonna take forever because I’ve got everything in the game all DLC.
Ok so no wonder my ship looked huge after maxing it out. Had to see if I was seeing things.
Adrestia: the best videogame ship in history.
Change my mind.
Why change? Adrestia is a really cool ship,
But, hear me out… the jackdaw
The Jackdaw, to some extent the Aquila and the Morrigan
The question is, is it still the same ship when you've replaced all the bits with upgraded versions?
Nice reference, that was a greek philosopher, right?
indeed, it was the ship of jason philoosophy
@@ignacioedwards8536
A fully modded Skyrim is the same Skyrim as at launch?
Yeah Theseus's ship@@ignacioedwards8536
Average theseus enjoyer
My ship still lvl 3/4 in everything, but is sooo expensive to upgrade all that isn't even funny
I would recommend leveling up in the mercenary menu. At some level, a discount is given for ship upgrades
you wont like the last upgrades lmao
It's an RPG, the more you progress and level up, the more high tier upgrades become attainable
22 seconds in and ive subbed, what is this power you hold mah dude?
I remember I had level 7 hull but level 1 ram because I never used it so I had this beautiful ship with a shitty stick on the front of it
I miss the Adrestia 😢
I’ve never thought about this lol
How do you upgrade the ship I couldn’t see the instructions before it disappeared
The enemy ship just ramming🤡🤡🤡🤡
How do I degrade my ship
Crew armor 5 best

I don't remember vikings having naval warfare I only know them as raiders. Using ships to transport for the sole purpose of raiding
