- In 2004 Bravo compiled a fantastic list of 100 Scariest Movie Moments, the list was great but since 2004 we've gotten some insanely great scares in the past few years and I wanted to compile a modern list that highlight some of those moments while also paying tribute to the moments that changed the face of horror films as we know it.

What I like about ur picks is that u don't just stick with horror films, u pick moments that are terrifying in all genres of film! Excited to see the rest of this list!
That wolf attack is brutal! Such a great scene
That scene in "The Strangers" is one of the scariest scenes of all time. The fact that it's not a violent, loud, or action scene in a horror film is amazing. It's so horrifying only because the guy is just...THERE. Standing there, able to do whatever he wants with you yet he doesn't. Then he's gone! And was never seen by her!!! O_O
Just like the original countdown, I decided to include non horror film moments to this list as well. If you feel like I left out a particular moment or that ur favorite moment was ranked low, please don't hold it against me. I understand we all have different opinions and fears, these are just the ones I found the most effective. Everytime I see that “The others” scene I think of scary movie 3 and the lady is Michael Jackson 😂😂
