Buene hente is the best Spanish conversation for beginners... they speak softly and slowly that we are able to understand and pick words.. for foreigners who are unable to converse in the language, this series is extremely useful.

These are the best, most helpful Spanish learning videos i have seen on the internet. I have been trying to learn Spanish for a few years on and off but these are by far the most entertaining and useful videos. Plus, the Spanish subtitles are brilliant. Thank you VERY VERY VERY MUCH. This production is top level, similar to yabla spanish. Being a beginner, I turn down speed .75 and put on captions. Give the director of photographer a raise.

I love this series! One question - at 1:47 Alejandro says "esta casa está increible." Why isn't it "es increible"?
We're so glad you like the series. Great question! Estar is used with adjectives for impressions and sensory reactions. So, for example you might say, El pan es bueno. (in general, bread is good - to go with soup, for making sandwiches, etc ) But when you take a bite of bread and like it, You would say "El pan está muy bueno/rico/delicioso" In the video, Alejandro is adding a personal impression when he uses estar. Where do you guys find the beautiful decorations for your videos?
We filmed Season 4 of Buena gente in an old house that has been converted into a museum. It's the Museo Gene Byron in Guanajuato, GTO Mexico. We thought it fit the story well!
Great series! There's a gap between extremely beginner programs that teach single words/phrases slowly and intermediate programs that are too fast. Buena Gente perfectly fills the gap with conversational material and real scenarios at a beginner pace. My only feedback is I was disappointed to find that it seems like you guys are getting faster and more complicated in this season. I understand the desire to progress but you really could make more material at the slower pace used in previous seasons because it's so valuable and SO missing from the marketplace. I would watch dozens and dozens of episodes at the season 1/2/3 pace and difficulty. Great actors and great production quality!

Will there be a new season?
We had planned on filming the next season in June, but it looks as if we'll have to put that off until travel and work are back to normal. We have other videos on our channel that you might like.
How do I find answers to comprehension tests?
Is it for a class? Teachers make lots of different comprehension activities for these videos in addition to questions on EdPuzzle and other platforms, so it would be depend on what questions you're using. If you're talking about the free questions we put on Spanish Playground, we haven't made an answer key, but that's a good idea.

Se llama Juan, como ves en los créditos. Es un actor. En los otros videos en nuestro canal, Juan y Pamela usan sus propios nombres porque son conversaciones, no historias. Para la serie, son personajes.

Hube un error logico. La nota dije ¨papá y yo¨. Pero era de su abuelo en vez de abuela. Debría que ¨mamá y yo¨. ¿No?
No. Gabriel dice que la casa era de su abuelo, y es él quien escribió la nota cuando fue con su papá (el bisabuelo) a la estación del tren (Gabo). La nota es para Rosa, la hermana de Gabo. No mencionan nunca a la abuela.
