He’s done it backwards too in a couple videos where he guesses what’s in it and then reads to ingredients to see which he got right

Correct. I’ve done it both ways. Hopefully do a decent job of describing the texture/burn as well. I also try to elaborate on any other things of interest I might find in the sauce or from the company.

The thing is, you can’t always taste certain ingredients, or they may be more or less prevalent than you expected when you read the label. Knowing this will help people choose which sauces to buy, especially when there are so many similar flavor profiles out there between different companies.
