what happened in the first ep? aliens?
i think it was just a reset of the universe no aliens ? maybe ?
the last episode ruins the whole series. why was it necessary to have that fake sounding father/daughter drama? what purpose did it had that the father was selfish? and why is the daughter calling him a selfish asshole, yet, she doesnt want to call him despite all people of the world will die horrible deaths and the whole world will be gone. and she says "no, i dont want to call him, i dont like him".................. DUH? she has no problem telling a pilot to crash his plane on purpose, killing 300 people, several dozend of them children, but calling her dad is too much? like for real, why did the producer or writer even made the father a bad/selfish person? this doesnt help the plot AT ALL, and sounds just fake and out of place. all episodes before the last sounded somewhat "real" and "beliveable". it would have been MUCH nicer, if the daughter would have just called her father right away, telling him that his work was indeed a success. then he could have called himself in the past to clarify that he really did it and PRESTO, all done. the last episode is beyond me. its worst then the last GoT season.

I think it goes deeper then that. The pattern with the episodes is relationships, mistakes, and then the consequences. For example sara and tim were struggling since sara was some doctor or something and tim moved somewhere (i kind of forgot uhh) but in the first episode it shows that tim decided to cheat on sara. the reason there was some "monster" outside of saras window was because thats where tim was supposed to be, but since he decided to cheat on sara the universe tried to balance it out. basically the world ended because of the consequences of his actions. this is just like the father in the last episode, he had spent all of his time in the lab rather then with his family and in the end lost them, facing the consequences of his own actions which is living a sad life and leaving a sad man. in the last episode you're right she encourages the man to crash the plane to save the universe/multiverse but when she was up against something similar (not so much but you know.....) she struggle just like the pilot. I've kind of lost my point but i hope you understand a bit
What a total waste of time this all was. Avoid it or you’ll be disappointed in the end. As in the plot, “Get out while you can”.
