From time to time I do also think of making a ferrero cake. Then I just buy a package of Ferrero, I eat the whole thing, and just forget about making anything. That being said, I probably make this one. It just seems so gorgeous and elegant

But I'll admit I'm intimidated by the chocolate glaze process, even though you refrigerate first I'm terrified lifting it to a raised area (so the excess will drip into a bowl) will backfire on me and I'll damage it somehow! Was it easy to transfer from the slate you assembled it on?

Fridge is waay better..freezer will surely destroy the cake texture.and semi sweet is pretty easy to find in any market.here in Qatar it is easily available. For the note I made this cake and it's very rich and it came out good. Remember.. never overmix the merengue.

The cake looks beautiful. I tried to made this but got a different result. The chocate ganache and the chocolate glaze are too runny. I decided not too use them because they drip down the cake. The nutella frosting is fine.

I made this cake. It was a lengthy process and took a looooad of chocolate. The idea is very nice and all but I personally didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I will. I find it too dense and too rich. You also can’t keep the cake in the fridge as it will turn into a rock and all layers will separate and therefore I will probably end up throwing half of it away as it can’t keep for that long not refrigerated. Only a tiniest little piece is enjoyable, if you have more you’ll be sick. But that’s just my and my family’s opinion. You might love it so give it a try if you want! :)
