Hello Kyle !! George here from Grindhouse Studios Athens :) Thank you for making this review of the GridIron pack! I really dig the way you review the IR's. Very honest and straightforward. Just wanted to point out some facts that might help the users for this pack. Some of the cabinets have been captured with low tuned guitars in mind. For example the Terremoto 1x18 will handle bass great as it goes down to 30 Hz and will work great with very down tuned or baritone guitars. The coaxial speaker has a full 2-way system in just a single assembly. So the on axis position sounds way brighter as expected because there is where the high driver is placed. The more you move off center, the more low end you will get from this cab. The Warning cabinet has a very tight low end but this will be more audible as you move the mics a big far from the speaker and indeed the ribbon mics shine on this cab . The Gem II is based on a sE Electronics Gemini II Tube condenser microphone. Hope this infos helped the viewers of your channel. Cheers from Athens :)
Man I must admit I have tons of IR's but two notes has the sound. Thanks for doing this vid. I was curious to see someone try these and that someone is you. lol
Blending the 4x15 sounds with some of the crispier sounds I think would sound pretty cool. I dig a lot more of these than I thought I would, the Altec and Jensen ones sounded really cool. So did the G12-L. And some of these are deep-fried as fuck which I think would be cool if you want an HM-1 vibe. Edit - I need to cool it with my use of the word cool apparently.
Hey Kyle, I was wondering if you plan on doing any videos with the KSR cab you had? If you still have the cab. I remember when you got it but havent seen anything since.

Listing to the this as it pumps through your monitors doesn't give any of these justice.
Have you tried Polychrome DSP yet?
