That's not entirely true. However, I do agree that there is some grain of truth of what your saying. But I don't think that's what ABS-CBN is trying to point across. I think they are trying to illustrate our bond, wherever we may be our hearts will always belong to our motherland - that is the Philippines.

I expected too much. Very common and shallow ng concept. Patriotism has nothing to do with simply singing the National Anthem, masyadong concrete ng interpretation. GMA 7 has a real sense of making our History a REALITY.
Objectively true. Its a sad fact we have to embrace. I too dont like the idea of being exported abroad as slaves. I too dont like the idea of hovering with the US, a nation notorious for imperialism. But we have to admit we are weak. We have people but the oligarchs have taken the best of us.
I must say that GMA's video outshines ABS-CBN's. I have no bias against the Kapamilya Network: it's just that for a national anthem, their video is a bit depressing because it exposes one of the biggest problems we 21st century Filipinos face--brain drain.

both concepts were great... but cinematography-wise.... GMA is way better ... but ABSCBN really focus on the anthem and not the acting (GmA's has too many sound effects such as the bombs and shouts which i dont like)... ABSCBN's is tourism inclined while GMA's is historical... final verdict GMA having orchestral arrangement and not like police bands is way better even though there are too much effects.. just giving opinion NO BASHERS!!!!
