- ASMR fabrication .Welding a set of knuckles today, these are my original design I built nearly 5 years ago now. I run this knuckle on all of my cars. After months of testing different versions I built what is to me all you need.
From simple setups running stock arms all the way to notched and extended arms these knuckles flow smooth but remain snappy on command. Interested in a set? message me on instagram @nscardigno

It’s possible but not as simple as just cutting and welding . Every millimeter you move the knuckle pickup the car behaves different . I made 5 different versions over almost a month testing diff designs until I liked how it felt . As well as making everything symmetrical is the hardest part
@@Nscardigno33 So nice to hear from you. I'm doing something differently. I have a Honda Knuckle that I want shorter so I maintain the kingpin but use different shock spring. I want it to be lower to fit into a custom car I'm building. Dad never bought me any video games, so I build cars instead lol. Thank you once again. I'm following your builds now. :)
@@JamesDoylesGarage ohh okay that’s easy then you won’t have to worry about the steering geometry you should be able to do that no problem. Just be sure to preheat and slow cool in sand this ensures it won’t crack

Any tips for welding mild steel to the knuckle?
Hi, did you find any trouble fusing the cast knuckle with mig?
Nick are you running stock lca with this setup?
I have before so yes they do work with stock lca , I run 25mm extended on black car and 40mm extended/notched on red car
How come you welded under and not cut a piece out to shorten and welded back to it level?
Bumpstter and Ackerman curve correction . I tried many diff positions the car drives completely different every mm the pickup point is moved . Car had no self steer in that position you mentioned

how did u make that jig
2 months of building and testing until I liked how it drove then made the jig off that knuckle set .. it’s easy to build knuckles it’s not easy to get the car to drive smooth

@@mostwanted6379 I just took random pieces of metal and welded them to the knuckle I already had built . Used a shank from gk tech tie rod for the pickup point
