we need more people like Abraham. He and the others from Koinonia changed how i listened and viewed music, and worshiped the one and only true God. Thank you Abraham.
Just Found out he is a Mexican Brother...
Most may not know the level of skill to play bass and sing. Respect.
I love seeing Abe Laboriel play along with his son on drums.
You are amazing father, brother and a leader. I seriously wish i was this talented as you.. Hey brother, keep doing it and keep leading people to Christ and kids off the streets. You're such a blessing to us all.
i like how the drummer feels his instrument
My fav Bass guitarist of all time... love his playing.
Abraham has being killing since over 7decades and he still the man...Living Legend hands up pops...
One of the greatest bass player of all times. :D
Abraham is such a legend. I used listen to him a kid.
Hot Damn! What a killer tune, band, and groove - I can't think of a better example of how important the doctrines 'less is more' and 'play the spaces' are. Nobody over-plays on this tune, and tension created by use of dynamics and respecting the spaces of the groove is amazing. The ending is a small wonder - not only does Laboriel teach the chorus to the audience - he then lets them solo (over some fairly intricate changes)!!! I am one impressed puppy - four paws up!
LOVE that low bass note...need that in my life. Abe Sr the bomb...so fluid...deep soul.
The most inspiring song I've seen , Abraham Laboriel Sr. is one of the reasons I'm studying Music and playing Bass .thank you 4 sharing this grate man, his team was grate as well. Thank u ,Howard
Always with Laboriel - look at his huge hands! the bass shrinks under his mighty touch
I love Abe! I was blessed with the opportunity many times while I worked at Ocean Way Recording "back in the day" 80s / 90s to work with Abe on many sessions. Abe was ALWAYS so cool and chill. We would always have interesting conversations while I mic'd his equipment and did the set up. Sometimes with Vinnie Colaiuta we had a blast. Both are true Gentlemen and some of the greatest talents. I just love Abe. God Bless him :)
Great person with a rock solid deep and at the same time funky bass. Very few bassist play horizontally as well as vertically. He is equally balanced up and down the neck. Seeing his work, he is highly under-rated bass man as well as musician. Perhaps paying the price for being simple & honest and not being glamorous.
Great, never seen Sr and Jr playing together, thanks !
Truth be told
Hallelujah! My brother...
Yes I stood up, yes I sang along, hands raised to the sky...👐
Patried hard while you musically, soulfully testified lyrically, Yep!
Be safe my brother✌😇💜
Abraham Laboriel is a living Legend. I've seen him in Paris - France 20 years ago. He still got it !
A great groove and technique but always using with musicality and heart ! He's such a nice person, and it's being reflected in his music.
OK, he's officially my favorite.
Simply unreplaceable talent and charisma.
This is the message we need in 2020/2021.
The laboriels' blood cells must be "note-shaped" awesome music as always! I also love their energy and joy in playing. 🔥🔥🔥
How to nail a intro? That's the way to do it! Simply great.
Abraham lo máximo, como bajista y vocal,y el batero ni se diga, que sabor!!
One of the best Mexican Bassist of all time
What a wonderful human being ... what a magnificent bass player ! Best regards from Portugal!
"Listen to your Brother" !!!
(A. Laboriel Sr.)
Fabuleux.
Abraham is one of the best bass players of all time, and by the way the drummer is Jr.
I attended this show ! It was indeed moving. What a beautiful soul, beautiful family !
Incredible dexterity in plucking bass guitar strings. Simply amazing!
I met Abe in the mid 70"s when he did a gig with a buddy of mine at a correctional facilitu in Northeast Ohio... incredibly good bass player fine person as well
Abe and Mateo are incredible! Ok, so Abe is great singer but he sings with soul and feeling! I'll take it with his bass playing!
A much needed gospel in these times.
I agree, this is genuinely REAL! its coming from the heart n soul n not capital, but for the love of people, and the arts....
Gotta love Abe! Live life, be open and free! :)
1:28 the drummer's all: "we cook'n up some REAAAL goo-oood shit tonight!"
Abraham sir ! I am your big fan since the nineties.... thank you for continuing inspiring. And this song speaks to the heart. Thank you ! A legend always !!!
I wish I could have gone to Berklee

Não há nada tão lindo como ver alguém fazendo o que ama fazer. Abraham Laboriel e um gigante da música!
I love his playing, his groove, his persona and what he believes completely. The proper definition of awesome.
I'm diggin it, and so are the musicians...just look at those expressions of joy!
Love this humble giant..great musician!

Waow, phenomenal. Got the bass in his blood.
stunning, outrageous....utterly unique
Abe Jr. is Paul McCartney's drummer. I just saw him last summer at Fenway. Such a solid and tasteful player.
No quiero morir sin antes conocer a este maestro
Que grandeza la de el hermano Abraham Laboriel! Todos en algún momento comenzamos a tocar así! Gracias Dios te bendiga!!

I'd be bummed playing that guitar solo at Berkeley of all places...rest of the song is just killer!
Man, I could TEAR this up on guitar.
That first lick he put on the bass at the opening song said it all....wicked amazing
Thank you Abraham 🎶🎵🦋✌🌐
Vai tocar assim lá no fim do mundo..... Ele toca muito!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Monstros da música!!!! Ufasssss é muito bom ouvir!
Mateo Laboriel stole the show, brilliantly! I've seen Abe Sr. and Jr. play together live several times at Baked Potato back in the early 00's. Never have I felt so 'at home' with watching videos of the Laboriels as during Mateo's solo. It's amazing to see this family playing together. They should record and post more sessions together, for the benefit of us all!
If there's two things I live its good drums and great bass.
Wow, this groove, this voice... I only discovered him tonight... but he's amazing Oo
He's realy full of humility and humanity... That's wonderful...
Father and son, both are fucking AWESOME !
ikr
You meant SONS right :)
It's nice to see a bored guitarist while the bassist is the star for a change. I don't normally listen to this style of music, but now I"m thinking I probably should :D Modern rock/contemporary bass lines bore me to tears..
love it- great peoples - great music
Awesome Bass!! Nice to see them having such a good time playing what comes outta their soul 😎
Los Profetas "A Donde Iras" "Loco Estare" Abe's rock band from the 60's was stellar.
Обалдеть!!! Восторг!!!!
