An Orange Pi Zero 3W is a quad core SBC with up to 4GB RAM. That is more close to a Pi 4, but you'd need to put in some work yourself to installing an Orange Pi distro or Armbian on it yourself. A lot of people here don't seem to be able to do their own research and can only follow step-by-step videos.

Lee, not pi related, but you should really check the Odroid M1S. Really small and modular, and maybe something you can get inside a Raspad just for kicks.
One thing I wondered if you did/could cover tho is Orange Pi Zero 3 to get Android on it w/ a Play Store. I'm having a hard time getting anything but the official version of Android for Zero 3, but an Android TV variant w/o a Play Store.
Will there be other Raaspberry Pi 4 eeprom "features" updates? Or will there only be bug fixes and the new features will be reserved for the Raspberry Pi 5 eeprom?
I have seen the specs for the CM5 but not for it's corresponding IO board. I'm just hoping for SATA ports so I can make a NAS with 3.5" HDD's. I suspect I'll be disappointed though.
I use an Iilama 22" touch screen. Plus USB cable from monitor into a Pi (3, 4, 5) and it just works. Nothing else to setup. I use it to remote control my bass pedals - saves me bending down to the unit
I hope the CM5 is compatible with the CM4 carrier boards. I have a CM4 adapter for my Devterm and a uConsole on order waiting for shipping, would be nice to be able to put a CM5 in one of them.

There are plenty of used SFF PCs that you can buy for cheaper than a Raspberry Pi on our favourite auction site - they will have built in SATA ports.
