That was when he just started becoming a hero hunter. You see: ONE (creator of opm) stated that Garou would even beat boros on a 1v1. But ofc, garou is no where near that strength in the anime yet, he will soon. As shown in the manga he withstood 2 of saitamas punches and even one of Saitamas-Serious series moves.(serious table flip)

Garou could have a whole anime made just about him
I mean, he's the protagonist of season 2 (and in a few years 3) so season 2 and 3 are basically an anime about him. Saitama is pretty much a side character
One wrote this season to focus on Garou as the main character and put Saitama to the side. Think about it, even the S Class heroes get more screentime than him this season

For people who are confused why they root for a villain, I can explain why.
Garou is not a villain, he is an anti-villain, kind of the opposite of Deadpool, who is an anti-hero.
This is why he has not killed a hero yet, he wants to, but couldn't due to his true good nature. The only reason he ever became a villain is because he got bullied into it and took it upon himself to show that even the less favourable villain could succeed.
The self proclaimed villain and his inner conflictions with heroism turns him into a very complex charector, one I very much like.
I wouldn't even say he wants to. He wants those heroes to survive to inevitably defeat him. His entire goal is to become such a threat that all of humanity has to team up to defeat him, and create everlasting peace after he's gone... Can't really do that with no heroes around, can we? But yeah, otherwise, you're totally right and it's why I love this guy so goddamn much.
He follows the naruto concept which bad guys are just people who had terrible backstories

Later on, he even explains that the outcome of his plan is world peace. By becoming the embodiment of pure, absolute evil and showering the Earth in this evil, people will have no choice but to set aside their conflicts, laziness, and greed, unite their hearts and defeat him. And this is how peace will be achieved, in his head at least.

Further in the monster association arc, Garou is MC for a whole lot of chapters and takes part in the craziest fights in the series

I like the original melody better but you still did a good job. The original melody does a better job at building up the song, and is better for a first time listener. The epic melody almost spoils the sound. If you add it at around 3:01 instead of at the beginning then the song would sound perfect.

My favorite part of this season was waiting to watch people who had never read the source material turn their opinions around on Garou as a character the longer he's persisted. I'm just excited to see how they handle the rest, not for myself, but for those people specifically. I'm gaining real joy from that.

Garou is such an incredible character. Don't you notice how much empathy and possession he feel? He could just as easily use his strength and kill the people he fights, but he knocks them down and leaves them. He hasn't killed anyone yet. He just wants to show that you do not care if you are villains or heroes, see what their reason is, that you should use just as much empathy for the villains and monsters. We should not always listen to the stories of the heroes but also of the others. Garous wants to show that there should be balance. What he wanted is not to hurt anyone and belittle anyone for who he is. Do not oppress anyone and should look into their hearts. You shouldn't put someone down because of their strength. Garou is so sensitive and wants to protect those who are weak. Do you remember the words he said to the kid in the playground? He said to get stronger so as not to get hurt. He also protect the kid in the fight, and he stopped fighting the metal boy because of the little sister. When the bad guys came to kidnap the girl, Garou distracted them. Don't you notice who the real hero is here? He is very strong, he's such a great character. I love him, his strength, his words, his charisma..

Garou is so badass! Despite him being 'the badguy' he STILL beats the snot out of practically EVERY S class in one bunch with little to no effort! To top it off, Saitama punched, headbutted, and I believe kicked Garou COUNTLESS times, but (and I quote from Garou vs Darkshine) "Im still kickin!" The list goes on! Garou actually outsmarted and COUNTERED Saitama's attacks! If it werent for Saitama showing up when he did, Garou would have done the same to HIS limiter! The backstory of Garou, his appearance, voice, attitude, beliefs, way of fighting, representation of a werewolf also named "Loup Garou" is just perfect! Garou's theme NEVER gets old, and fits him SO well in my opinion! Garou is like a character from those movies where they mislead you into thinking someone else is the main character!
It is true that garou would have actually broken his limiter even during his fight with saitama too, but he gave up at the last few moments. Garou could have become an actual god.

This is genuinely incredible, and I'm glad it's so true to the show's actual soundtrack. By the end of season 2, Garou was my favourite character, even above Mumen Rider, which I never though could happen. And now I can have some Garou music. I adore it, I love it, I crave it.

This guy is the best martial artist in whole OPM universe. He is able to perform moves and master techniques not even his master could still keeping him humanity fighting for his survival.
He mastered Bomb's Fist of Whirling Wind Smashing Steel by just once fighting it.
And during his fight with Darkshine he was able to do the Renqui Sky Flying Fist(the mix technique of Bomb and Bang while they were fighting centichoro) single handedly, even though it requires at least two people.

Its kinda retarded tough the monster fetish is wierd, but he does actualy have a nice sense of justice, but hes still dumb somehow due to careless he attacks branded heroes, he would have commited a injustice beating King wighout studying him further.
the thing about extended version, is that sometimes people just add it on loop, i have yet to seen a truly seamless transition to an extend a track. Great Cover btw
This one is prettt seamless, the fact the it starts with a more quiet intro makes for a good loop so you don't get tired of the epic parts, it's a nice change of pace throughout the song imo :)
