The gold def adds up, and most of them are empty BUT the gold does add up, seems any rng # around 20-50 coins. Never break them standing next to them because you'll find more of them have poison gas which DoTs you for 5-10 damage depending on what chapter youre playing. Also, Archers CANT break the pots with their starting skill, and mages cant use their charged basic to break pots either. Many skills you get can break pots but it generally takes 1-3 hits to smash them
