Well, It's never too late to check out the anime. Personally I felt season 2 was too much cloak and dagger, and took WAYYY to long to get going, I felt like the Lizardmen arc was going to be half the season, and it kinda was considering the first fight with Cocyutus happened on the 5th episode of a 13 episode season. Season 1 definitely had more action and OP Ainz moments. S1 was a 9/10, S2 was a 7.5/10 IMO
yeah s2 has the worst arcs out of the 12 volumes overlord has. s3 is gonna be the best fucking anime if they dont use cgi animation for those brutal scenes.

But I think the measure you were looking at might be a V6/5 because of the D# hiding in there, but when the root of the chord isn't in the part that is outlining the chord, it might be heard and function as a vii b5. I'm looking at the measure before the G b5 on the "and of 3" where right hand has that F double sharp (G.) Ab Cb Eb G= Ab minor triad with a major 7th or (G# B D# Fx= G# minor triad with a major 7th.) I'm pretty sure that's a G# Maj7 chord. It just doesn't sound unstable to me for some reason. I'm probably missing something but for the life of me I can't see it.
There isn't an F# in that measure. . . I'm talking about the measure that starts with pedal G# octaves in left hand and D# G# D# in a chord in right hand.
The 3rd chorus is actually different from the previous, your sheet is wrong here. I know no shite about music so I can't really explain myself, however I've listenned to this piece enough hundred times so I know the violin's move is different in that 3rd chorus.
