  • on today's episode it was more of a prospecting trip I fish these areas quite often but I only fish them in the fall and winter months because the fish seem to stack up and as of right now they are there but not as great of numbers as I would like to see. We caught redfish and trout all on live bait large shrimp. as it gets colder those fish will just populate more and more and more and that goes for any area with residential docs pretty good depth you want to have at least at least 6 to 8 ft on the dock that'll definitely hold some fish bait of choice always in the winter for me is fiddler crabs or live shrimp and if I'm targeting fish in skinny water then I'll go to artificial but mainly
winter time it's strictly live bait for me and this video pretty much shows some of that live bait dock fishing, drop off fishing, shallow grass flats so all of your winter time spots is what this video kind of displays so hope you like it give me a thumbs up. Tight Lines
Tackle check today was a popping cork tied to 20 lb test fluorocarbon with a 2/0 J hook and a large select shrimp.
rod and reel setup I was using a 7 ft 6 Marathon guardian medium heavy action rod paired with a pen fierce 3000 spooled with 15 lb test braid
