Just for clarification, "Last Chance Gas" was a common advertising for gas stations out in the rural isolated areas on the way out of town to let people know that they were likely going to have to drive a long distance before there was another gas option. You don't see it anymore because there are gas stations all over the place, and a lot fewer isolated rural areas.
Movie trivia! - A special feature on the DVD plays the movie from the college kids' perspective, in which Tucker and Dale are murderous villains - Tyler Labine ad-libbed the line "They hate my face."
@@NiaMakiReacts There is always next year. Oh! You could do a Devon Sawa marathon! He was in a few Halloween classics: Casper (1995) Idle Hands (1999) Final Destination (2000) -Devil's Den (2006)- -Creature of Darkness (2009)- ... Actually, it's probably best to stop at Final Destination.
There are two movies that will have me literally howling with laughter every time I see them. One is the original Home Alone, the other is Tucker & Dale vs. Evil. Favorite line: "Are you okay?!" 😂
I loved the goofy comedy and heartwarming friendship chemistry between Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine as Tucker and Dale. I would have enjoyed seeing more movies with this dynamic duo. In the old days, they would have been a classic comedy team like Abbott & Costello.
Also, the ditzy blonde is my favorite of the college kids. She plays the airhead so well. Usually those are the most annoying characters but shes fn hilarious.
@@NiaMakiReacts it was all the college kids prejudice towards the hillbillies complete with karmic unaliving scene for me. Thanks for your reactions. Gritos from Tejas.
I like that another reactor described Dale as a "fluffy bear." That's a good description of the lovable character Tyler Labine created with his charming performance. BTW after the scene when Ally gets scared of Dale bringing her the pancake breakfast, the same reactor also said "I'm okay if my kidnapper makes me pancakes.... They're PANCAKES!"
Sasha Craig and Brandon Jay McLaren have both appeared in Power Rangers shows. Craig portrayed Kelsey Winslow on Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue (2000). McLaren portrayed Jack Landors on Power Rangers S.P.D. (2005)
Great reaction Nia like always. This is one of my favorite comedy horrors ever. I find it particularly sweet that Dale doesn't like fishing but goes with Tucker anyway cause Tucker likes it so much. He's just a great friend. The wood chipper scene gets me everytime, I can't help laughing my butt off. Tucker and Dale, Cabin in the Woods, and Shaun of the Dead are the holy triumvirate of horror comedies in my book. I had a hard time leaving out American Werewolf in London, but I feel that leans very heavily towards horror and not so much comedy. Literally anything with Alan Tudyk is a guaranteed good time. There are some fun-facts about it. In the original cut of the movie tucker actually does die, but test audiences hated it so they changed it to him living and There is a special version on the Blu-Ray. They edit out all of the stuff that shows us that Dale and Tucker are innocent and the movie plays like a slasher film and is kind of scary. They call it "Dale and Tucker ARE Evil." Keep up the good work.
Fun reaction to an awesome movie. I'm not sure if you edit your reactions or have an editor but you have some flash frames from the next shot. One happens when they are having tea and she says it's earl grey. I've seen them in other reactions. Not a big deal but thought you might want to know.
@@NiaMakiReacts it's usually an empty frame between shots. In this case it's a frame of the next shot so it's cut a frame too long. If you roll the video frame by frame as they are having tea and she says Earl Grey you'll see it.
There are a couple more horror/comedies I think you might like that are funny enough so you could tolerate them; The Frighteners and Tremors. I have others, but some might be just a little too amped up for you.
But The Frighteners is very much a ghost story, but a very funny one. I really believe you can handle ir. Ah, I forgot to recommend the single Greatest Horror/Comedy of all: Young Frankenstein. This one is much more comedy than horror (yes, even more than Tucker and Dale), but it is by all means THE Horror/Comedy that you MUST see. Yes, it'd help if you'd seen a couple of the Universal Horror classic Frankenstein movies (particularly "Frankenstein" and "Bride of Frankenstein") first, but you will get a good laugh out of it either way.
May I suggest reacting to DEEP RISING it's my favourite creature feature. It was directed by Stephen Sommer who did the mummy and van helsin. It has a stellar cast of actor's and at the end they end up on skull island i think
Yeah it's a great movie and not that many people have reacted to it. I'm sure if you watch it you'll love it I watch it a few times a year I would love to see what you think of the movie it's a forgotten gem 💎

Alan Tudyk pouring beer on his injuries is a great reoccurring gag
Oh 😂 I was like whyyyyy
They likely didn't have running water in a rundown camp. The sterile beer is a great alternative.
Beer was his solution to everything. Like bribing Chad.
I love that the only one w any common sense died first and actually realized that Tucker was running from bees jist as he dies lmao.
Lmao right? What a mess 🤣
Poor Mitch had to die for it to work. 😂😂
He could have just stumbled into that woodchipper, but that headlong dive into it is simply glorious.
