The Giants hate Malacath, not Trinimac. Also, at the time of the Dwenmer, giants may have still been talking. There was something that happened between men and giants that sent the giants up into the mountains for many years. When they returned, they no longer could (or would) speak to people.

Kyne breathing the Nords onto the throat of the world isn't the story of the origins of humanity, they're the origins of the Nords. The Nords don't consider themselves to be related to the other races of men, they're much more magical in nature, though a lot of this aspect of them REALLY got toned down by the time Skyrim became heavily imperialized by the 200th year of the 4th era

I realize I'm late in responding, but one theory that can explain not only giants, but their ears is that they could be the result of a Wild Hunt, as there have never been a limit (as far as I am aware of) of how large a single being can grow to. Also, they apparently lose any connection to their former Bosmer life, including memories and reasoning. This would explain their ears, and almost animalistic behavior as regards with being so territorial. Just a thought

No such thing as too late to comment! That's something I hadn't considered and it can easily be connected to Skyrim with King Borgas 🤔. I guess this is the 7th theory.

You know it seems like there's always been way more interbreeding with hominids in the real world as well as those imagined

the giants were created by our dark overlord godd howard so that we can more easily farm daedra hearts, elemental salts and pelts

I always figured the Skyrim giants were elves, simply by their ears.

Alchemy makes some sense imbeing in stealth due to the ability to make poisons. Though magic would make better sense anyway.

Mabie the giants aren't slow at all but just communicate different and are quite or use body language who knows but they are organized for being stupid. Or just seen as stupid...

Hmm there is a problem about Giants and Man sharing same ancestor, if that would be the case Giants wont be having pointed ears. This phisical look points out that Gians are closer to Mar (elves) not Man.
Also I have problem with Hircine being fragment of Lorcan and here is my reasoning: Hircine is fully powered Daedric Prince, if Lorcan would be fragmented his full power (that should be on similar level as fully powered Daedric prince, if not weaker due to him helping creating Mundus) would also be fragmented, so how could then just a fragment of his having full power? If you would say that Peryite (the weakest of all Daedric princes) is fragment of Lorcan (note: the Largest fragment to be more specific) I would believe it, but not somebody who can directly shape mortals into beasts.
Edit: I must say though, you do have some good ideas in this video, theory that Giants are result of crossbreeding is solid one.

Ah but remember there are also ways to gain power. The Tribunal did not start out as gods, they acquired divine power from the Heart of Lorkhan with the 3rd walking way. Talos also didn't start out as a god. But I think the most practical example of this is us, the players. We start out as less than nothings in a prison, but as we play we become legendary heroes often with a multitude of powers. So, perhaps Hircine and other fragments of Lorkhan found various ways to become more powerful 🤔. Thank you for watching!

Dwemer definitely up to no good. Wouldn't be surprised if they were involved somehow.

14:25 reality is very fluid in the elder scrolls and both sides always say they are right contradicting each other sometimes in ways that make them more believable.
So here is my thinking. Lorkan was never the moons strictly speaking. When lorkan and the orginal time God were both broken by seemingly unconnected events. Both time and nirn broke.
The moons are two pieces of lorkan, each side comes form the time when their species won, and in sailing in the oceans they left their "home continent" and were lost in both space and time and if they can find their original home at all it is not on the same planet because it is not in the same time.
They all started on a version of tameril went to a version of the continents they leaved in and came back to a new and healing tameril/summer set Isles. The elves can't get back because their home is simple gone literally lost in a fragmented time, their head deity.
Nirn being broken is part of all of this, hence humans being lost too, but the their head deitiy is more of a trickster and stronger willed so his fragments hold together better as individuals.
Ultimately nirn is a daedric plane and it is a complicated one which is why it can survive having two masters destroy each other fighting for control.
But ultimately lorkan is the daedric prince and the time dragon, Ariel for consistency, only controls one layer. An important one but not enough.
With his ascendency a weaker approximation of what the daedric princes already accepted and some achieved as something else, he is no outside of the plane altogether and now has an entire new relationship with the world.
With this comes a new stability to time on nirn, the giants could be men from an entirely different timeline. Those from Yukoda and aldmeris likely are. The east is like a fever dream for goodness sake.
It is possible the mortals of tameril all come from different layers of what was once a single place and with the events of the games is slowly becoming one unified place again.
Which would match Hircines goal to take over his former lorkan state. As this kind of unification by any part of lorkan suceeds the wolrd will do the same and Ariels leaving makes him less capable of stopping it without more daedric methods of intervention.

Since Nirn is a planet though if one keeps going north they will end up in the south. Same would apply to Atmora if it keeps drifting north as it would mean that Atmora would eventually end up south of a Nirn landmass.

I do think the Giants pointed ears are a result of interbreeding with the Orsimer.

The snow elves primarily worshipped Auriel, that's like the whole thing of the forgotten vale. That this was their race's greatest chantry they've ever built, and that other aedra also had their temples and chantries, but Auriel's was the most impressive. To double check myself as well, I went to the uesp page for Gelebor, and there was no mention of Trinimac at all.

Hello, I'm a person who slays Giants in Skyrim. Just like how Thor would and for the same reasons. It's fun.
