For anyone who might have thought that Lu Bu's backstory was boring in this series, I _HIGHLY_ recommend the manga spin-off made about him (yes, this anime has a spin-off... _several_ of them, actually). It goes into his mortal life pre-tournament in a lot more detail and demonstrates how he grew into the person that he became. It's called "The Legend of Lu Bu Fengxian", and you can easily find it online to read it in English. Also, it confirms that this anime's version of Lu Bu was only slandered as a traitor by his enemies AFTER he died, because his foes were that salty for not being able to fairly beat him in battle and slandering his name post-death was their only get-back. The real-life Lu Bu was known as a traitor, true. But the manga points out the whole "history is written by the victors" idea to show that this version of Lu Bu didn't actually betray anyone, he was just maliciously slandered as a backstabber after everything was said and done. From a meta perspective, Lu Bu not being a super traitor in this franchise's canon is really just basic creative liberties. Because the manga's creators obviously AREN'T obligated to be 100% accurate to the real people and legends. If you don't like that... I mean, feel free to publish your own historical series.
Lu Hu admired the gods and aspired to reach their level of power and in the end he became the e strongest human in all of history but in the end even the strongest human was forced to bow to the might of the gods this shows no matter how hard a human trains they can’t brute force the gods that’s now how humanity surpasses them.
That aged fine Spoiler Tesla definitely can brute force a god. Apollo vs Leonidas is probably the first time a human can brute force a god while the god had to rely on skill.
Wasn't Lu Bu the biggest backstabber in ancient China? Like, he would constantly switch loyalties between different kings and warlords until one of them finally had the brains to execute him before he got himself backstabbed as well? How did this guy become such a beloved hero?
If I may put it this way back then China was very rich person or rich family based and Lu Bu was from the Mongolian step he was a man with ambition most of the time rich men would say I'll feed you cloth you and other stuff and you'll fight for me LU Bu was the type who said feed me I'll fight for you so the reason Lu Bu betrayed them was to get the resources he needed to be the leader like them hes a rich man rising up with talent to become what no one probably thought he could he wqsnt dumb but he was young and a bit inexperinced in ruling when he rose up
Im pretty sure Netflix has all the available episodes there. There are 2 seasons that go up until the 6th fight if I remember correctly, while the manga it’s on its 10th fight rn

@@NineDiamont yeah bro definitely worth checking out
@@NineDiamont I’ve seen both if you want the better experience then go for the manga
@@NineDiamont the manga is still better but the anime is better than nothing

How did this guy become such a beloved hero?
All of them were trash no one had worthy to be lubu s lord. Unfortunately lubu didn't have the true leader
Several of our beloved historical figures are assholes. Doesn't mean they can't be epic or even great people.

I think young Lu Bu looks similar to kirishima
Or is that just me?
why?
Lu bu was also the most traitorous as he betrayed all his bosses till death by cao cao
At least he tries his best on his boss (his mistress’s foster father Wang Yun)
Whatd you expect?
When all your BOSS's attempt murder on you?
--Or some other demented shit?
Hence the nickname, Bastard of Three Fathers
What if lubu vs yujiro hanma?
I wished this anime has Malaysian heroes. Like Tok Janggut and Rentap for example.
Why they made my boy teeth so sharp
Would be ironic if the lightning bolt was from Thor.
Like Thor bored AF throws a lightning bolt and unknowingly creates his rival.
the sky looks like zeus 0:33
Probably only guru gobind can rival lu bu madlad fought 1 million soldiers
And fans boi saying that yujiro can beat this guy? Idiots .. this isn’t even a debate at all

no the anime is pretty awesome too
poor dude i read manga of record of ragnarok and thats not accurate the anime is poor
manga isn’t that great and the anime has a lower budget
Yeah i think it is related to the low production budget. Hopefully they gets better in the upcoming seasons.

Why he kill the wofl, the wolf is he pet?
Anime logic was really bad, his fight against the Thor should have been more contentious for sure ...
Maybe, but it still teaches us lesson that :- *"OVERCONFIDENCE ONLY LEADS YOU TO A STEP OF GETTING DEFEATED"*
I wonder why u bother yourself finding logic in anime🤔. Can u just enjoy yourself?
