Thank you for another fantastic video! Your voice is so soothing I could listen to it narrating an hours-long Ken Burns-type series. Can’t believe you are only 21!❤
Your cinematography is honestly on point! With your narration and smooth shots, it always feels like I'm there with you which is awesome! Thanks for yet another masterpiece, Aidin. 🙏
Aiden, I'm a geoscientist just a year older than you. I spend my time researching and falling in love with the world that we live in. However, every other topic I explore builds my ire towards the modern systems that serve to destroy these systems that have existed long before us and will continue long after we're gone. With just the scars we've left to tell the tale. These stories are important. This is the fight for the future of every one of our peers. Its a fight we are losing, but we just need to break the siege once and it will all pour forth. I don't know what that moment is but one day I hope to see it
It's a masterpiece in it's element. Everything is well placed and your voice makes me feel the whole world and the nature around us. I can't put this awesome video into words, just soo good and I'll help you to protect the planet and its irreplaceable beauty! Keep going and get people all around the world inspired to rescue OUR planet
WOW, some of the best content on youtube. The cinematography, storytelling, and scientific knowledge is so good. It talks to my head and my heart. Keep it up and let’s enjoy and protect this beautiful place
So proud of you man. Havent missed an episode and I lived up in Humboldt during the snow. It was unbelievable and you captured it so well - as a rock climber and avid outdoorsman... Thank you for the work you do. Heres to making a difference 🍻
Beautiful as always! I’m going on a few months long road-trip from Texas to the National Parks and every Western State of the U.S. here in a couple months, living out of my Prius. Your videos are just one of the reasons I’m so excited about seeing the northwest and the Old Growth Forests. They are at the top of my list of places to experience.
Some great comments here. Hard to believe that you are 21. At 21, I was serving with the military in Cold War Germany and beyond. I am well into my 60's now and your channel inspires me to try harder for Mother Earth and your generation. I look forward to hopefully many years of your videos. Cheers from Ontario Canada.
Having been an avid hiker (in my younger days), I have been fortunate to have been able to see so many breathtaking places in the world. Your vision is equally breathtaking. I may be old, but there are more adventures in me yet!
I was at the Redwoods a couple years ago and still think about it all the time. it was one of my favorite places I have had the opportunity to visit. I could spend days wandering around those trees and ferns just being in awe of nature's glory.
I have started watching you for the cinematography, and I have to say that I am happy to see you diving in these topics. Not only do you have the chance of seeing these beautiful places, you also have the chance of sharing the dangers they're in. Thank you for doing so, and keep it up!
I had to stop the video while watching the glaciers part of this video to write how impressed I am by your shots and storytelling of that portion, especially. Indeed, these scenes and places look surreal, out of a fairytale mysterious and beautiful! Bravo!
Wow. This was amazing! I live near Seattle, and have lived in Washington almost my whole life. I've been wanting to move away recently but this helped me see my area from a different POV again. Thank you!
I really needed to hear this positive outlook. I've been really depressed the more I learn how much we've lost and the extractive forces that will remain into the future. None of my friends care much for nature and it feels isolating. Thank you for showing me there are people who care. I went to school for ecological restoration, I haven't found a way to make a meaningful impact yet but I'll keep trying
I'm speechless, so I'll try to be brief. Your work is amazing. It's not simply visual, but the words that go along with the video. It is truly therapeutic. Thank you taking the time to about and things in this way. We need more young creators like yourself. I'm looking forward to your next story!!
Gorgeous video with very interesting content. I’ve always been fascinated with the temperate rainforests of North America, and your videos over the year helped me learn more. I’m especially thankful for the sense of peace from the forest themed videos, I always get hit hard by the New York winter and it makes me happy to see these videos
This was an amazing thought-provoking video that I think a lot of people working in offices need to see. As someone studying wildlife and conservation biology this is what really gets me going, people enjoying nature in all of its beauty that builds a connection and drives them to preserve it.
I'd also add, appreciating the beauty in the small... It's amazing once you really stop and look at something how much you notice e.g. the life on a moss covered log
Judging from most of the comments received, you have accomplished one of your goals of inspiring others to appreciate the natural world around them. We can only care about those things with which we have a positive relationship, and you are encouraging that. But there is more. You have the privilege and opportunity to see some of the most spectacular natural sites. As more and more people are encouraged to go and do likewise, it has been shown that often, the natural surroundings suffer from the intrusions. I would ask that you include in your message what you are doing to reciprocate the honor of witnessing that beauty. What are you giving back for the gift you take away?
I feel very fortunate to call the Olympic Peninsula my home! It’s such a diverse and magical place. Thank you for highlighting its beauty. Stop by and say hello next time you visit!
Thank you! I'm only 15, but I look forward to my future exploring and learning about this wonderful planet we live on. I've applied for a youth conservation corps job in Yellowstone this summer and I hope that it can maybe be a stepping stone to a career in conservation or something outdoors.
This is such an incredible video. I woke this morning to a notification and I knew that this was going to be a great start to the day. You do an amazing job and I find your work to be incredibly inspirational. I look forward to seeing what you have for us next!
Aidin, if I could only express how much i respect your work. I find it so inspirational and educational, sharing it with my friends and telling people around me that your content is exactly how we should discuss topics of a changing climate. Your content has no fear-mongering, it is straight to the point, showing in a calm the mesmerizing beauty that surrounds us and how it begs for protection and conservation. In my opinion, your input in saving the nature that surrounds us is immense. Part of what we can do is support you so that your story-telling can reach and impact a larger audience. You're a man on a mission!
i hope you continue doing vidoes like this past year. your cinematography skills are amazing, and you are going to corners of places so few do, to cover topics even less would think of when there. you are doing what it took me decades to realize was my dream. im so envious, and so happy for you!
I love your videos! They are magnificent. It's impressive how young you are - I can only imagine how your work and artistry will shift and evolve as you move through life. Thank you for sharing these with us and for caring so deeply about the Earth.
at 21 you got to know about Earth more than we ever can, as slaves we're stuck... it's amazing to see you making this super high quality documentaries with so much research and great storytelling. honestly man, really awesome.... YT is still alive, i think and believe when i see people like you. God bless you
This fired me up! I knew I wanted 2024 to be a year of travel and experiences for me, but this video inspired me even more! Thank you for doing what you do and sharing these incredible stories :)
I’ve really enjoyed your videos from 2023. They were thoughtful and engaging. And a great recap of your year! Keep up the excellent work. I can’t wait to see you hit your stride.
I’m so happy I found your channel it’s quickly becoming one of my favorites. I love the way you put together your videos and I’ve happily watched pretty much all of them. I also like the fact we’re around the same age so in a way I can relate to the feelings you have about these amazing landscapes.
Love this video bro! Didn't realize you're my age and I've been looking up to you from quite a few years now... kinda feels weird but also inspiring 😂 Keep it up! Can only hope I get to your level!
Hell yeah! One of the biggest years of growth on your channel. It feels like after a few years of trying new things, it's all paying off. You deserve it!!
I found your channel through your video about the Cinders in Arizona. The fact you chose a niche topic in my own backyard on top of your thorough research and great storytelling made me an instant fan. And it turned out that it wasn't a one-off, you really do go out of your way to find interesting and unique stories and perspectives to tell your stories in every single video. You're incredibly talented, and I can't wait to see what you come out with this year! Also if you want any more AZ-based topics, I am an entire thesaurus on the cool niche stuff here. But definitely start with the Superstition Mountains, they're incredible and full off cool stories.
being 21 also and seeing the amazing places you've bean makes me feel a little guilty to just be sitting in my room doing nothing, i really need to get out and see the world, hopefully ill get the motivation and budget to do that soon amazing video as always man

Always stunning storytelling
Hey man, I absolutely love your videos. I’m also in my early 20s and often think about the state of our world and how the internet constantly presents us with so much destruction, heartache, and decline. I have actively been trying to visit, see, and experience as many amazing places as I can because I am worried about them disappearing or drastically changing for the worse. Wrapped up in this world, I often forget something that has brought me so much hope and peace during different stages of my life. The thought of an omnipotent, omniscient, caring, and loving God and savior. I could be completely and totally wrong, and please correct me if I am, but I get the impression that you do not believe in a God. I usually am not someone that goes around projecting my religious and faith beliefs onto other people, but watching this video and your channel for a while, I just have to ask you a genuine question (based off of my possibly stupid assumption that you are either agnostic or atheist). How can you experience the surreal wonder of so many stunning places on planet earth and (like me) worry about the decline of our planet that we see all around us, and not want to hope for something more than planet earth? For me the thought of Heaven and Jesus brings me immense peace and hope. I worry less about the decline of our world and the stresses of life. Don’t get me wrong, i’m not saying that because I believe in these things, we should focus and do less to try and protect and save our planet. I also have no idea if you’ll see this, and if you do, you may not feel comfortable answering this, which is totally fine and understandable. I am not trying to be offensive in any way, i really am just curious :) Thank you for the amazing video essays and I appreciate you for what you do.
i need this before i die. every place here is on my bucket list
