Hi Robert☺️ I was able to visit FL for the first time this past fall! Went to Panama City for my mom's 70th! Loved it!! The ocean was heavenly! Then went again with my family as a last minute vacation! Very last minute! I chose the city based on the weather, driving distance and availability! So it was Sarasota! We were blessed with 4 days of beautiful weather! The kids saw the ocean for the first time! Only bad decision was driving 30 hours straight through! Probably won't do that again!😱 Must be so nice living there!
Hey Robert! I love your teachings and I do enjoy your time out sailing on the Sunfish. I own a Laser so I know the complete joy and freedom being out in the open sea. Guess we sailors have to enjoy as much sailing before the rapture cos there's no sea in heaven😉

That sail originated from our region. I live on Guam and a British naval captain documented us as having the fastest seafaring vessels in the world at the time. The sail was traditionally on outriggers.

I could never get good at that. I tried once or twice. It takes a ton of balance. But, would LOVE to learn how to do that. I had a chance to buy a windsurf set up at a garage sale for like a 100 bucks. I'm kicking myself I didn't get it! Looks like that would be a lot of fun! But, takes a lot of practice!
So, the Bay is closed about on three sides with land. It does eventually go out into the Gulf of Mexico. The Gulf usually has bigger waves, but it much, much more clear! The Bay is kinda brackish (salty and fresh water).

So whats the difference between the bay side and ocean side.
So, the Bay is closed about on three sides with land. It does eventually go out into the Gulf of Mexico. The Gulf usually has bigger waves, but it much, much more clear! The Bay is kinda brackish (salty and fresh water).
