- Paasam (transl. Affection) is a 1962 Indian Tamil-language film directed by T. R. Ramanna. It stars M. G. Ramachandran, M. R. Radha and B. Saroja Devi. The film, produced by R. R. Pictures, has musical score by Viswanathan-Ramamoorthy and was released on 31 August 1962. The film failed commercially.

தலைவரின் வித்தியாசமான படம். அவர் எப்போதும் ஒரே மாதிரியாக நடிப்பார் என்ற குற்றச்சாட்டை தவிடு பொடியாக்கிய படம். அவரால் எல்லா விதத்திலும் நடிக்க முடியும். ஆனால் அவர் ரசிகர்களின் விருப்பமே தன் விருப்பம் என நடித்த பண்பாளர். அவர் புகழ் இன்னும் பல நூற்றாண்டுகள் கடந்து செல்லும்.

I get so sick and tired of people saying MGR could not act. He was magnificent here. He was also probably one of the few actors from that era who did not overact. He was even better in Petrallthan Pillaya. MGR donned the dual role even better than Sivaji. Was magnificent in Anbe Vaa - the greatest romance comedy ever. Other films where he acted brilliantly include - En Thangai, Ninathadai Mudipavan, Nam Naadu, Vivasayi etc.
