Well done! I like the box art of the original, and honestly a separate scoreboard is really great, but in every other aspect I prefer the new one. There's just no reason it should be that big. The Mojito version was a cool idea, I love the lazy Susan, but scoreboard around it was a bad idea and I grew to actually dislike the colors. The Playte/originals do seem to come from a place of love for the new Mexican style, even if (likely) made from ignorance. Big fan

All things considered, I think the Playte version looks like the better version, especially with wooden blocks and that awesome meeple! I agree the box artwork is better on the original, but if I had my choice, I would choose the Playte version. Playte keeps impressing me with these reprints!!

I have the Playte version and think you’re ultimately right, it man do I love to cool artwork on the original. But in the end, the Playte one is lovely and very compact. Hard agree that they’re hitting their reprints outta the park!

I appreciate Olayte's box size and wooden components, but worry that for a board that players want to rotate during play, this long and thin board (that integrates a score track) might be difficult to handle. Mojito's circular board might be the winner (although it has a weird score track where the marker flip-flop in orientation)
You need to be careful turning around the board so the score marker stay at their place. The lazy Susan board of the Mojito version does look appealing. Thank you so much for watching! 👏😺
