Caught your enthusiasm for the fab four thru the canyon. I have to say though, I think it's the going, not the getting there, that makes the hike. Cheers!
😂 I absolutely love the energy n how hikers feed off each other n challenge the trail and each otherwith excitement n enthusiasm. It's great that you have a tramily.
A world I did not know existed until I stumbled upon this channel...the hiker world. Pretty fascinating and organized... and thanks for letting us in. I am hooked
love how you show alot of the plants and scenery, loved the flowers cant believe how beautiful arizona is, I used to go there with my dad to visit his mother and it was always in august, so I missed the show of flowers. to bad your friends wont slow down a bit until you catch up, maybe you enjoy them more than they enjoy you perhaps? or they are just crunched for time?
Oh the flowers are so beautiful! I could hardly believe I was walking through a desert! Yeah two of them were pushed for time so they couldn’t slow down. Stix had a new job starting up so she simply couldn’t wait up for anything.
My kids and I started following you when you (and Blister) were hiking the FT. We eagerly await each new episode. LOL I love your enthusiasm (it's contagious)!
Like the others, I want to see how the Grand Canyon hike is dealt with. Had no idea there could be another feasible route through it. Please take care and enjoy as always.
“Feasible” is the key word here 😂 There are actually lots of Routes through the canyon! It’s just that thru hiking is not a skill set that prepares you for off trailing in the GC
Oh. I thought there was only one rim to rim trail in the Canyon. I enjoy your commentary on the AZT, and Paul Townsend on the AT. It's a good year for following through hikers!
Its been great watching your hike. Glad you had so much fun catching your tramily. I look forward to seeing more adventures. i have never been to the Grand Canyon, so anxious to see your routing. By the way, what is the definition of semi-technical hike?
Thanks!! I love posting these videos for anyone to follow along so it’s always nice to hear people enjoying them 😄 Honestly, I’m not too sure myself 😂 Peaches is really the person who spearheaded our canyon adventure and from how he described “semi” technical was basically a lot of route finding, scrambling, bushwhacking, v1-v2 bouldering problems and minimal exposure (no “you fall, you die” climbing). He could probably explain it better but that was what stuck out in my mind 🙂
It was my major question, Paul. Just what is the definition of semi-technical, especially in the Grand Canyon. I'm really glad Mister Twister clarified the If you fall, you die, aspect. Lol. Please have a great weekend, gentlemen.
From the AT! Her full trail name is Short Stix and she got her name from people thinking she was using child trekking poles when in fact they were adult poles but because she’s 5’0” they were adjusted to a super short length.

Couldn’t agree more!

Can’t wait to see this technical hike through the canyon.
It was so much fun! Yeah I’m getting super excited to post our attempt through the Grand Canyon!
Ok! It’s getting exciting!
Cliff hanger on the AZT! Will they successfully execute the technical trail thru the the Grand Canyon? Going to get my popcorn and tune in! 😂😄

How did Stix get her name?
