Incredibly distracting...
I think this trailer just covers the first four episodes. (I don't know that for a fact, but I think it's pretty likely.) So, some of the things you mentioned we may see in the trailer for Part 2.
Also, I love Eloise, but yes, she's not perfect and is often a little too self-absorbed. To the point that I sometimes get really put out with her. LOL! But she was still pretty young in the first two seasons and hopefully will grow out of that as she matures. Fingers crossed!
i honestly thought it might be just the first 2 episodes to keep the dramatic stuff out of it!! and i hope she grows too, i do feel tho she hasn't really had a lesson that makes her think outside of herself (idk if that makes sense) so hopefully we see that this season
@@nikkilpzs Yes, I understand and agree about Eloise. She needs to have some kind of epiphany. But that's part of what I love so much about Bridgerton. Pretty much everyone is flawed in one way or the other, so I really do think Eloise will eventually have her big lesson and moment of self-awareness. I also hope they don't drag out the Pen and Eloise conflict all season. I'd like to see it resolved in the first half of the season. But I'm not holding my breath for that. lol!
I haven't read any of the books but I am excited for the show. The second season was already so much better than the first, and I also really liked that Queen Charlotte one. Can't wait.
I’m also so so excited!! the books focus exclusively on the romantic subplot & characters and Shondaland gives the rest of the cast so much more depth
I agree that in the series, Eloise has been shown to be very self-centered.
i hope she has a moment of clarity in this upcoming season!!
I really love Eloise. Yes, she’s always so absorbed in her views of her society and what she wants for herself, but she’s very honest with Penelope.
I don’t hear Penelope ever communicate honestly to Eloise about her views, which are apparent to us viewers cos she shows and tells us. As much as I love Penelope too, I don’t like the fact that she wasn’t ever really honest with Eloise before the Lady Whistledown reveal.
I think what viewers fail to see is that Eloise isn’t a side character in Penelope’s story, both of them are main characters. So it isn’t fair to expect Eloise to read Penelope’s mind and miraculously realise that they want different things for their life’s.
i agree that penelope in both seasons seem to bottle everything up and spit it out at her, but i feel like eloise's obliviousness comes from how she is also a beautiful girl from a well respected family (which in the books it comes through like shes more of a wallflower granted). its almost a classic case of wanting what you cant have in both directions. and i hope they reconcile this season!
I don't like Eloise either I think she's a total pain in the butt! And when it comes to the couples in the show I only like Penelope & Colin....their book is the only book that I bought and read from the whole series....but I'm definitely liking that the show isn't going moment by moment from the book because obviously in the book Penelope didn't have that other love interest and Colin wasn't helping her look for a husband....so in a way she isn't exactly romancing Mr Bridgerton like the total of the book...it's more along the lines of making him jealous without knowing that she's making him jealous....which actually makes it even more exciting to watch and see how it all plays out....I do know that there will be some book scenes coming in with the carriage and obviously the part when Colin hurts his hand because Penelope is seen helping him with his hand....but for the rest of the stuff I can't wait to see what happens!
I definitely feel like this season will be more exciting than the books, since it gives both characters so much more agency and also shows Colin what he’s missing!! Bc in the books it’s almost as if he just was like well ok I’ll love you too I guess

Eloise is the type of feminist that looks down on women who want to marry and have kids because she personally does not want to. I also don’t like her reaction to Colin trying to help Penelope because even though they’re fighting right now I didn’t think she was a type of person to wish unhappiness upon Penelope. I really liked her at first until she judged Daphne for her desires in S1 and i felt icked out, like she’s not a girls girl. I think she’s becoming the person she dislikes the most, and i hope she matures.
I AGREE!!! You hit the nail on the coffin!! Since she judged Daphne I also got icked out by her and I am hoping this season she finally gets a wake up call. But idk because in all the prior seasons, I feel Penelope has had a big meltdown where she is like dude grow up and she hasn’t gotten the memo
I agree, and I hope she will grow out of that. However, I will say that in this setting marriage is basically the ONLY option for high society ladies, so I can see why it would be hard for Eloise to believe that women would choose it if they had other opportunities. It's all those women know, so I understand her questioning if it's what they actually want. In this day and age women do have options so hating on marriage makes less sense. I honestly don't think Eloise would hate the idea of marriage so much if it wasn't such a rigid social requirement.
