I kite hydrofoil. I've moved from the 900 Aero Carve to the 905 Glide and it's amazing. I'm using the same size kite as I used to, but yes you do need a bit more power and speed to get going. I suspect that with a kite, the ability to dive the kite and get a quick bit of power is better than on a wing. I agree, once up and riding, it's smooth, fast and turns very quickly and easily. A chunk more so than the Aero Carve (that is also a great wing, this is just a step up).

I have been riding the Glide 1305 3 times now. As in the video I noticed that the foot switch was harder. But..if I went less upwind then I am used to for the foot switch, it became a lot more comfortable. And thinking about it that actually makes sense. You will want that High Aspect front wing as horizontal as possible to make the foot switch. Because turning or carving will create a lot more lift on one side, because that Glide front wing is so wide, and that results in an unstable feeling while doing the foot switch.

      100% great insight

I’m just so used to a low aspect.
Which is usually better at creating lift whilst the foil is at an angle???
Which maybe is an argument against your theory?
Maybe super wide is unstable part?
Compared to super low aspect? Super curved

I was riding the glide again yesterday and paid more attention to the topic. My foot switch became easier riding 90 degrees on the wind. Somebody will know why:).
      Enjoy riding

Nice review, I just bought the 85ltr Style and I use AXIS HPS 880 & HPS 1050. After video footage the nose rides quite high, which I believe is the purpose of the desing of this board. Others disagree and say it's too high, I am about 1" from the back of the box with the mast. I find the board perfect others say I should shim the mast. Not sure though.
Maybe it's better with Fanatic foils??

that board has lots of nose rocker for jumping and wave riding.
does it matter? does the board feel slow? does it feel like its dragging or stalling?? if not, i wouldnt worry about it.
It is hard for all manufacturers to be perfect when cross compatible.
The fanatic foils always work very well with fanatic board becuase they are designed together...

What harness and harness lines do you use ? Maybe do a video showing it ? Thanks !

      Heya.
I talk about my harness in another video.
I usually use the ION rouge.
But started to use the new ION rush impact vest with built in hook

I now use the ion adjustable wing lines. Which are more lightweight than windsurfing lines.
I find you need them different lengths depending on how powered you are

Good review, I was looking at this but think I will be better with a free 1250 wingset

I use the 1250/250 Aero Free which I really like - I find it to be very smooth and easy to get on foil. But I am ready to progress to a smaller foil. Happy enough with the Aero Free that I was thinking about going down to a 1000/216 Aero Free. That said I have not demoed many other foils other than Armstrong, which I find very unforgiving. Any other recommendations?

    What is your weight ?
The jump from a 1000carve to this 900 is a huge jump .

      76kg.
The new glide is more efficient than the carve once up!
The carve will lift earlier. But won’t have as much speed as the glide ones up.
