@@coreydk4860 it's all about practice and having a mechanical mind, learning or understanding how things are fitted and how they work together, the actual building of them is no effort at all! Understand that smaller bolts don't need to be wrenched up as hard as you can do or they will shear off, at the same time don't leave bolts too loose or they will fall off, it's about gaining the experience and enjoying it, seeing the finished product in your minds eye before you even start and staying motivated! I wish you well!

Buy an old rusted bike, some people give them away, buy a few hand tools and get cracking! With so many UA-cam videos and the Internet in general at your disposal, the best way to learn anything is to get stuck in! Even if you don't get it back together for a start you will gain experience with the tools and overall how a bike is fitted together.. one day you may even have your own shop and be better than the guy who didn't give you the job! Always teach my kids they will never be rich working for someone else, we are all conditioned by schools to get a job and work for someone else but why not have someone working for you!!

Nice build. I miss the Yeti ARC. Now they’re all carbon F/S. At least that particular year frame has the Yeti logo on the side. The new model don’t. Happy to see there are still other company’s putting out sweet hard tails.
I'm not a fan of the purple parts, but this build turned out nice. Having heard about the BC Race many years ago, I know a few people who have done it and said it was the hardest, but most satisfying experience they've ever had. The MD will have a blast. Enjoy.

When I take my stem bolts off, I drop all of them, lose one, strip one, throw the only good one I have across the shop out of anger, say shit 76 times, scavenge stem bolts from another bike, then go ride.
