"Don't Keep Runnin Back" 2nd Flo - A Emcee feat. Emyli and Verbal (Throwback Track/Classic)

- This is the 2nd original instrumental I uploaded to this site. This is one of my dream collaborations...I still love it.
Here's the original description I had for it on my "A Emcee Muzik" page when it was around :
Since im taking a break from ReMiXing vg music...I have another un-video game related upload. This instrumental is a follow up to one of my first orginal beats I made 1 year ago (2008) when I started off with music making. That beat was really repetitive, however, it did get alot of listens and people liked it (on Myspace)...so I figured its time for an update. The result came out better than I expected, it resembles the original, but could of been something completly different as well (Really was gonna call it "On My Mind"). The first version was inspired by J-Pop singer Emyli's voice (I took all of her english lyrics that were mixed with japanese words in an M-Flo track, and made them into a sentence...then played piano over it). She is my 2nd favorite female singer in Japan right now (1st of course being Crystal Kay). So, I figured to pair her up for a un-offical reunion track with one of my favorite rappers PERIOD, Verbal/ L Universe (they had a song together called Tekito Lover). I couldnt find any accapella wordplay with Verbal...so I only managed to have him start off the track, if you know Crystal Kays music, you will reconize what hes saying. As for the actual arrangement, it was fun to make...and probably sounds a bit too much like my other tracks. In any case...I feel this is probably my best orginal work to date. I have nothing more to say about this track, the video...I messed up a bit, but nothing MAJOR, so ill leave it as is. Hope you enjoy this "2nd flo" to "Don't Keep Runnin Back"...

Its been 10 years or more since I listened to this song looping it endlessly and the nostalgia only makes it stronger. I miss this DEEP R&B/Groove flavor thats mostly lost to time and absent from music these days. I have to give the UA-cam algorithm a lot of credit here, it brought this running back to me. Great work A Emcee, this piece has completely stood the test of time.
