I strongly disagree. IMA is only a loose association of doctors primary formed to protect the rights of doctors. It is a relatively small and weak association and often failing in its primary objective😅. This direct attack on modern medicine was too much and has severe public health implications, that's why IMA is forced into action. And never ever it has hindered any govt initiative for public health reforms. It only has objected to govt rules which have overlooked nuances and ignoring doctors welfare. We doctors are a fragmented community and we don't get what they really deserve.... As against popular belief.

Indeed my mother was ayurvedic practitioner herself. Being a pharmacist myself, i believe allopathic medicine has its own important place in immediate and emergency health care mechanism. But, for lifestyle diseases and chronic diseases, ayurveda works like wonder. I feel allopathic medical council should keep aside its ego and commercial aspect as well, and respect patanjali and esp ayurvedic medicine. Also baba ramdev must agree that modern medicine has very critical importance, and try not to defame it altogether. I’m no fan of Ramdev but I have been to Yoggram Haridwar and my dad who has been visiting best doctors in the country from best hospitals including fortis, Apollo, max among others, found major relief in spinal de congestion from therapies in Yog gram. Also, when you go to Patanjali yoggram, thousands of people who go there have already tried Allopathic treatment for years and found no relief. Nobody goes to Ramdev before trying allopathy, when they are dejected, looted by modern medicine, they have no option left.

I’m no fan of Ramdev but I have been to Yoggram Haridwar and my dad who has been visiting best doctors in the country from best hospitals including fortis, Apollo, max among others, found major relief in spinal de congestion from therapies in Yog gram.
Also, when you go to Patanjali yoggram, thousands of people who go there have already tried Allopathic treatment for years and found no relief.
Nobody goes to Ramdev before trying allopathy, when they are dejected, looted by modern medicine, they have no option left.
If modern medicine is unable to cure someone, I highly doubt these quacks can!

Yes you are right modern are good for emergency cases like heart attack, severe accidental cut or anythig which needs immediate cure but in long run if u only rely on allopathy then it hamper your health bcz i have seen many people who are taking heavy drug based medicine like for cancer ,asthma, diabetes they get relive at certain level but the main problem starts when these medicine start affecting their livers and many more side effects which is not good
So in my opinion once these get in control after allopathy you should go for yoga and ayurvedic medicines... it will have no side effects
Nobody is blaming his yoga practices .even without him Yoga is very effective. Yoga was there even before baba was born .nobody criticises yoga here .. Its the products he is marketing and the money laundering that is being criticised here .

Patanjali''s only fault is that they advertise their medicine in a wrong way especially coronil but if you look for orther medicine they are really good and cost friendly in comparison to allopathy medicines and moreover these medicine have no side effects like allopathy if it works or not but it has no side effects
But one thing i want to tell that yes patanjalis orther products are not at all good but their medicines are good
Allopathy medicine are ment for emergency treatment and and only for shot period of time which is good for today's time but it also have some severe side effects like it dameg our liver, diarrehea short in breath etc while on the other hand ayurveda is good for in cureing the things at root level of diseases

Because they are. Because if any ayurvedic medicine can prove its efficacy by clinical trials, it then automatically becomes a part of modern medicine and we'll study them in books like KD Tripathi or they'll be included in management of one disease or another in books like Harrison.
Modern medicine is not a rival to ayurveda or homeopathy. Modern medicine simply means any medicine whose efficacy has been proven by four or five phases of clinical trials
