  • The Offspring - Elders - Berkeley, Live, 4-13-17, 1st row, The Cornerstone. Noodles: I think we should do something special for these guys...
    Other Tidbits:
The Offspring, who are 924 Gilman alumni, played an exclusive show as a benefit for the Berkeley community space, or as Noodles refers to it as 'Club 924', lol. It was also the 30th anniversary of 924 Gilman, so the band played their classic 1992 album 'Ignition' in full to celebrate. Tickets were between $60-200, and held at The Cornerstone Craft Beer & Live Music, which just opened last month.
Just like at 924 Gilman, there were a lot of crowd surfers, and several times, fans accidentally knocked over Dexter Holland's beer, fan, and mic, lol.
    Setlist:
    1. Session
    2. We Are One
    3. Kick Him When He's Down
    4. Take It Like a Man
    5. Get It Right
    6. Dirty Magic
    7. Hypodermic
    8. Burn It Up
    9. No Hero
    10. L.A.P.D.
    11. Nothing from Something
    12. Forever and a Day
    Encore:
    13. All I Want
    14. You're Gonna Go Far, Kid
    15. Elders
    16. Come Out and Play
    17. Bad Habit
    18. Why Don't You Get a Job?
    19. The Kids Aren't Alright
    20. Self Esteem
    Lineup:
    The Offspring
    Dandelion Massacre
    Day Labor

this is insane, i figured they wouldn't do any from their self titled or ignition (besides Dirty Magic), since most of their fans jumped on the band wagon after the shitty Pretty Fly became such a hit.

@@guyfauks2576 Wow why? Just bored so you had to say it? As lot they did was bad/mediocre after Americana. But Rise and Fall was closer to their roots. Are you the "fan" that didn't know Ignition either?

drumline sucks. Ron played it much better. diferent hi hat which makes completly difrent pulse of the song.

  • @YHirschmeier
    @YHirschmeier 4 роки тому +3

Nice. But the original hi hat explosion on the record is better

The two handed hi-hat of Ron Welty is very powerful in the record.
