  • Check out this wicked fast old school 6 second nitrous 1980 Suzuki Gs1150 pro street bike close-up video from the Man Cup World Finals event at Valdosta, SGMP 2015. Built by Brad Mummert to be a little different than the other Suzuki's dominating the class, this bike is ultra lightweight with a full Carbon Fiber set of body panels and even sub-frame sections built by Montgomery Motorsports. With pro rider Richard Gadson riding this little bike, this machine is a deadly weapon on a street tire and no wheelie bars, producing incredible sixty foot times that few other bikes in the class can match. If you like fast old school bikes like this 1980 GS series motorcycle, make sure you subscribe to my channel for more:

    Want to watch some other videos I have recorded of this bike in action over the past few years as it worked its way from the seven second zone into the sixes with a best of 6.89 in the full quarter mile from a 1980 GS? Check out this video from summer 2015 here:
    • 6 second 1980 Nitrous ...
    Here is a video of Richard Gadson in action on this same bike, back in 2013 racing at Indy and MIRock making low seven second passes and working out some nitrous issues on the bike:
    • 200 mph nitrous 1980 S...
    Interested in where they got the wicked Carbon Fiber bodywork for this bike? That would be a Montgomery Motorsports specialty and you can check out their official website here:

    If you would like to link up with pro rider Richard Gadson right here on UA-cam, check out his channel:

    This was the busa of the 80s and 90s. People forget the gs platform dominated mc drag racing for decades. The cases had THICK castings that allowed for huge crank stroke, cylinder bores and big cams and valves in the heads. It's still a tuners dream. My dad ran gs bikes in top gas and super comp. It was pretty easy to pull 250hp out of a normally aspirated gs motor. Add billet blocks and all the nitrous and boost you want. They are cool and fun to ride. He still has both although they are retired, and a mint 82 gs1100 in the garage being preserved.

    I've had two hayabusas currently with an 06 LE. But my first bike I ever bought was an 82 gs1100e. love both bikes but very cool to see a properly built 80s machine killing quarters. :D

    In it's day, the GS1150 was untouchable as a stock bike! The raw horsepower of the GS was AWESOME, and it required a bit of skill to bring it out of the hole correctly. But once it hooked-up, it ran like a strip-ped-assed ape!

    If that tail was tilted down just a inche or 2 it would look that much more badass but trust me I'm not taking anything away from it id kill to own that thing. I know it's up there because the back tire would hit but I'd tub out the fender so the tire could go in the fender when she squats.

    Rice Grinders are.....and nitro/nitrous rice Grinders are still _______ but just more, _______, they're just not in any way a dignified ride.
    Want a fast bike? Great, design (if you can) and weld up a frame and put some kind of innovative and advanced power source on it and paint and detail it really nice and THEN you have something......

      Not sure what the hell you are saying..Yeah Ill let Japanese engineers build me a "dignified ride". lol

    • @butlerproman
      @butlerproman 5 років тому

      A dignified ride? What does that even mean? In drag racing, a dignified ride is covering the 1/4 mile without falling or crashing. In street riding, it's rather similar with a dash of courtesy to others and a little more consideration for safety. And please fill in the blanks so you aren't speaking complete nonsense. A dignified ride depends entirely on the person doing the riding.

      Tony P I have no idea what you are talking about, have you ever been to a drag race? 6.64 + 7= 13.64 so your math is off. if a bike runs 6.xx it's a six second bike.
