  • In this video I review the set of 4 Elite Force WWII action figures featuring soldiers from the 101st Airborne Division, the Big Red One, the 4th Infantry and the Bluecand the Gray. These figures come with a lot of accessories and I use my small arms reference book to evaluate the details.

Love the video, I was a combat engineer for the 101st airborne division and served in Afghanistan. I always find the history to be so amazing from my old unit. 🇺🇸 I carried an M249 SAW and manned the .50 CAL when we were in the trucks. I need to collect some toy soldiers myself! Super awesome 👌

Nice collection. I'm a toy soldier collector myself, although in my case I stick to small one-piece plastic soldiers, usually in 54mm scale (TimMee, Marx, MPC, Lido,etc.). One big complaint I have about toy companies is that they fixate too much on the Army and Marines, and ignore the other branches like Navy or Air Force or Coast Guard. Hopefully this will change in the future. Also I agree with you about that .45 "government automatic", it looks much too small. A REAL .45 is a big gun and LOOKS big when a person is holding it. Your figures were probably made in China (where most toys come from), and the Chinese are often not completely familiar with American stuff. For instance I don't think they have Fire Chief cars in China, nor would they be familiar with the huge Civil Defense organization we had in the U.S. back in WW2 and during the Cold War (now abolished). They wouldn't have a clue.
